We all express our Judaism differently. We celebrate it through our tzedakah, through our congregations, through our professional and civic contributions, and through our mentoring of the next generation. We incorporate our values and our traditions into everyday life in countless ways. Our philanthropic priorities are just as diverse.

At the heart of every successful Jewish Alliance Annual Campaign is the simple idea that when we all participate, we all succeed. Together, we must give our children an excellent and affordable education that is built on a solid foundation of Jewish identity. We must share Jewish culture so that who we are as a people will remain of value and relevant. We must take care of the most vulnerable among us – including our elders – wherever they live. We must continue to support Israel and its people because a strong state of Israel ensures a strong diaspora. And we must continuously innovate as a community, to ensure that we are prepared for every challenge and every opportunity.

Please support our 2014 Annual Campaign.

Lives transformed, every day.

There are many ways to be Jewish. And there are many ways to be generous.

For nearly 70 years, the Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island has been making our community stronger, more engaging, and

more vibrant. Only the Jewish Alliance is able to look across the entire community to see where the needs and opportunities

are greatest and then bring the people and resources together to address these priorities. Through the Jewish Alliance Annual

Campaign, we care for people in need, support Israel, and help ensure a strong Jewish community for the next generation.

The Alliance works with community partners to deliver more

than 300 programs and services worldwide that build a healthy, strong Jewish community that’s committed to social justice and

experiencing Jewish life together.

Your philanthropic partnership – in the form of a direct contribution to our Annual Campaign or as a planned gift to the Jewish Federation Foundation – makes it possible for us to build a better world together.

Your voice, your ideas, and your passion make us stronger.

Our Annual Campaign dollars are targeted to three critically important areas:

Jewish Life & Learning keeps young people connected to Judaism and offers our whole community a wealth of opportunities to learn and celebrate together throughout the year.

Caring & Social Responsibility helps the most vulnerable members of our community. Our support helps put food on the table, keep a roof overhead, and address other critical needs of children, seniors, and the many individuals and families who are struggling in these hard times.

Jewish Peoplehood helps Jews globally survive and thrive worldwide – making life-saving food deliveries to impoverished seniors, providing educational and social programs for at-risk children, and helping Jewish people everywhere to discover and celebrate their heritage.

Give a home-bound senior in Warwick a healthy kosher meal – and a daily visit to brighten the day.

Support Jews in Cuba, Poland, and elsewhere in discovering and celebrating their heritage.

Send a Rhode Island child to Jewish overnight camp.

Help a struggling local family buy school clothes, pay the electric bill, or stay in their home.

Support an at-risk child in Israel in gaining the academic and social skills needed to survive.

Help a non-Jewish mom in Barrington raise her Jewish children.

Send a child to Jewish day school in Providence.

Spark Jewish identity in a young professional in South County.

Give an Ethiopian child in Israel the support she needs to transcend early-life trauma.
