“If you are discouraged it is
a sign of pride because it
shows you trust in
your own power.
Your self-sufficiency, your
selfishness and your
intellectual pride will inhibit
His coming to live in your
heart because God cannot fill
what is already full.”
~ Mother Teresa
“The Lord of mercy always
forgives me; He always offers me the
possibility of starting over. He loves me
for what I am, He wants to raise me up,
and extends His hand.”

Prayer for Priests
O Jesus, Eternal High Priest, live in
(name of priest), speak in and through
him. Think your thoughts in his mind,
love through his heart. Give him your
own dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead and guide him always. Correct, enlighten and
expand his thoughts and behavior. Possess his soul;
take over his entire personality and life. Replace
him with yourself. Incline him to constant adoration and thanksgiving; pray in and through him. Let him
live in you and keep him in this intimate union
always. O Mary, Immaculate Conception, Mother of
Jesus and Mother of priests, pray and intercede for
(…) Amen.

Risen Jesus, shed the scales from our eyes, grown weary at the Cross
and impatient in suffering. When we have become resigned to dying,
shake us awake to your victory over the grave. Transform us so we can come to
the tomb, looking for the Resurrection. Amen.
We are having a Relics Tour at St. Augustine Church in Montpelier.
Fr. Carlos tours the world with 150 relics of saints from long ago and recent times. Included in these relics are a piece of the Blessed Mother's veil and one of the larger pieces of the True Cross. This is an event not to be missed. There have been many healings during these tours. Please tell your friends about this opportunity. We
signed up to have this tour come to our parish 4 years ago. It will not be in our area again for at least another 5 years.

Easter Poem
Jesus came to earth.
To show us how to live.
How to put others first.
How to love and how to give.
Then He set about His work.
That God sent Him to do.
He took our penalty on Himself.
He made us clean and new.
He could have saved Himself.
Calling angels from above.
But He chose to pay our cost for sin.
He gave it out of love.
A Jelly Bean Prayer
Black is for our sins— the
wrong things we have do.
Red is for Jesus’ blood— He
shed for everyone.
White is for a clean heart— when
In Jesus we believe.
Gold is for the streets in Heaven
promised when Jesus we
receive.
Green is for growing; hide His
Word in your heart. Put
your trust in Jesus— give
your life a brand new start!
