With recently researching ‘Has Modernism Lost the Celebration of the Entry” for dissertation I wish to learn more on how people view design and how they believe others respond.

Since working at Cyma architects my professional studies have increased significantly, allowing me to be more aware and confident of the planning process and RIBA work stages. I wish to continue this development through my part two experience to take forward onto Part three.

Pickard Finlason Partnership - Multi–Professional Design Consultants July – August 2011 – Eight weeks (Full - time)I worked with PFP on two different projects both involving Microstation (CAD) and organised and developed a system for them to access and easily produce a brochure to give to new clients to show previous work. Here I developed a passion to understand more about ecclesiastical architecture.

Byrom Clark Roberts Architect surveyorsSeptember 2007- One week (Full - time)I worked on designing a disabled friendly community building and included using graphic computer software (CAD) and modelling equipment. I developed, my computer skills and creative techniques.

The Ribbon is liberty, a haven that gives people a support network to the rest of Europe. Situated neither on land or sea, it supports a linear route along the cliff of Helgoland to introduce and support people for a new life away from suffering, distress or need.

The program is migration centre that uses the structure as a wordless architectural language to guide people though nutrition, faith, culture, legal support and humanity.

Transpired from twisting the narrative of Snow white and Prior Rose who care for a cursed bear in need of shelter, which is allegorically symbolic to immigration.

Zos Apuleius is the Occult name of Austin Osman Spare an Idiosyncratic artist said to be the first surrealist of his kind.

His history relates back to Walworth Road, Elephant and Castle, where he presented his work at the Temple Bar in 1949 and his studio was located at 56a Walworth Road, which was bombed during the Blitz.

Zos Apuleius is a multifunctional landscape that is a pragmatic response to the land to road treatment, which will enhance the network of pedestrian subways below ground level drawing you into a maze of market stalls and culture of Walworth, with 9 supporting landmark structures for navigation.

The project is to re instate Austin Osman Spare as part of Walworth, to form a landscape that will allow his technique of Sigil Magick and artistry to be remembered, whilst retaining the existing infrastructure of the Latin American Culture on the site.

‘Theatre of the Imagination’ We were asked to ‘linger’ in the Soane museum to draw our experience within the space, telling a “narrative” of

well as sequential elements.

I chose to ‘morph’ the space I experienced to portray the emotion I exhibited, which is then shown in a video with the sounds I heard during my experience.

‘CLARICE, THE GLORIOUS CITY’ has a tormented history. Several times it decayed, then

unparalleled model of every splendour, compared to which the city’s present state can only cause more sighs at every fading of the stars.”

Cyma Architects

Since 2010 Cyma Architects have worked with the clients of Restoration House to restore the building and the site to its former glory. Including the renovation of the Brewery buildings to the rear of the garden into modern industrial styled flats. Whilst at the practice I have worked on two applications.

Restoration House is a Grade II listed Medieval Building dated from the 16th -17th Century in Rochester.

Kennelling House is a housing extension project with a key focus on accessibility for the clients son.

With having worked as a support worker, I helped with enabling floor access and communicated with the clients on their needs, applying this to the planning application and design and access statement.
