L.I.F.E. groups are committed to: Learning God’s Word together
Interacting with God
Fellowship with one another
Extending ourselves to others
One of the ways we can be “moving to the right and reaching to left” is by being a part
of a group this fall. Being involved in a L.I.F.E. group can be one of the most
significant ways to grow in your faith. And it’s not just knowledge that you gain; it
can transform many aspects of your life as you go deeper with God and others.
Please pray about what group to join, and find a way to set aside the time to commit to
a group. The opportunities are listed below. You can also contact Becky Juliano
([email protected]) or Dave Baily ([email protected]) if you have
any questions.

“REALIGN”: Finding God’s Purpose for Your Money
Sundays @ 9 AM starting September 8th
Led by Ben McCracken and Josh Dains
The REALIGN Class is a not simply about getting your
finances in order by getting on a budget and getting out
of debt, but about getting our relationships with God,
ourselves and others back on track so that we can manage
our money better for a greater impact! REALIGN is not
a financial class centered around wealth-building. At its
core this class is about getting our minds and hearts
aligned with God and managing our resources to see a
great impact for God's Kingdom.
Contact Ben ([email protected]) or Josh
([email protected]) for more information.
“Even Better Than Eden”
Sundays @ 9 AM starting September 8th
Led by Becky Juliano
“Even Better Than Eden” is subtitled, “Nine Ways the
Bible’s Story Changes Everything About Your Story.”
This study will help us go deeper into understanding the
Bible as one story centered on the person and work of
Jesus. We’ll look at the story from nine different angles
including the wilderness, God’s image, the Sabbath, and
a dwelling place. These stories reveal how God’s plan
for the new creation will be far more glorious than the
original. We’ll see how the new creation is breaking in
now, changing everything about our lives today.
Contact Becky ([email protected]) for more
information.

2019-2020 XR season is here!
Here's what to expect:
Same Time, New Format We want to maximize our time on Sundays and be able
to provide the most fun games and activities, the most
fruitful time to grow, and the best opportunities to make
and build friendships. Our format is flexible and
customizable to make the Sunday XR experience what
you want it to be.
5-6pm - XR Hype Anyone is welcome during our first hour (as long as
you want to get active and have fun). We will plan
games and experiences for middle and high schoolers
who want to have fun, get hyped, and move!
6-7pm - XR Encounter Anyone is welcome during our second hour where we
shift gears to an encounter with Jesus through his Word.
XR leaders and guest speakers will be sharing and
teaching through God's Word and through personal
stories how Jesus is alive in us and what that looks like
in our everyday lives.
7-8pm - XR Connect
Anyone is welcome during our third hour where we
shift gears one more time into a low-key space to chill
and hangout. We will have options of organized
activities such as board games, video games, or arts and
crafts; or simply just hang out, sit in our couches, and
catch-up.

Stewardship by Ben McCracken
Managing God’s money……….
Sunday morning, during worship, we sing the doxology
(meaning “ a word of glory”) when receiving the offering.
In its first line: “Praise God for whom all blessings flow…”
we glorify God for providing us with more than we need.
As we share this abundance with others there is a promise
that we shall never go without. God teaches us that giving
to others is actually a special gift to Him.
Giving is a fundamental part of our personal spiritual rela-
tionship with Christ - One of those exceptional times when
the giver is the principle beneficiary of the gift. All that is
required is obedience to trust in God’s promises when giv-
ing. “Each one must do as he has made up his mind, not
reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful
giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing
in abundance, so that you may always have enough of eve-
rything and provide in abundance for every good work (II
Cor: 9:7-8 RSV)
Your prayers and support in meeting the financial needs of
our church do make a difference in allowing our church to
fulfill its mission.
Financial update… The resulting year-to-date shortfall
reflects the significance of each person’s giving and the
timing of investment income...
