Since 2007, the Franciscan Brothers have been joined by lay men and women, including young people, who are sharing in the life, work and prayer of the Friary. Our particular focus is on Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation arising from our Franciscan vocation. : Take A37 Yeovil to Dorchester road. After approximately 8 miles turn left at Wardon Hill (Signposted Batcombe, Minterne Magna). At the T Junction turn right. Travel approximately 2.5 miles take second turn on the left. The Friary is at the bottom of the lane. : Take the A 37 Dorchester to Yeovil Road After approximately 9 miles at Wardon Hill turn right (signposted Batcombe, Minterne Magna). Hilfield Friary hosts a for olderadults between 12 noon and 2.30pm (eating at approximately 1pm)stay on to chat if you like or spend a little time looking round thebeautiful Friary grounds (if the weather is good!).

There will be a main course and a pudding, plus tea and coffee. Adonation of at least £3.50 would be welcomed.

Come for lunch, a cuppa and meet new people.

Unfortunately we cannot provide transport.

These craft days are held from 10am until 4pm. This is a chance to finish long-forgotten projects or begin

new ones.

Just bring a project or two which you are working on, a packed lunch andjoin with other like-minded crafters. See what others are up to and maybehave a go at something new too.

The Craft Room at Hilfield is newly refurbished and is crammed to therafters with a myriad of different crafts. Suzi is usually on hand to help ifrequired, though she is not an expert, more an enthusiastic amateur!

If you are able to, please bring £5 which will go towards setting upwomen’s sewing workshops in refugee camps to enable women to supporttheir families.
