Guest Speaker: Kim Gravel from Kim of Queens. She will bring good, heartfelt stories and life lessons, mixed with humor and love. Kim will deliver a message that will relate to young girls,

6th grade and up, as well as woman of all ages. Invite your daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, cousins, & friends! Tickets are available from the Grove Committee members and the church office AND on Sunday mornings. | HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Decorate a table for 8: Contact the church office or Karen Oothoudt if you want to decorate a table. | Buy a table: This means purchasing 8 tickets ($200) and inviting 7 friends to join you for dinner! | Buy individual tickets: Come and join others for this night of great food, entertainment, and fellowship. If you would like to pack shoe boxes to be shipped to children around the world, you can

drop off completed shoe boxes at Unity Baptist Church or in the designated area of the

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6 @ 10:00am

All children K-6th grade are invited to participate. To sign up, contact Karen

Oothoudt ([email protected]) or fill out a sign-up form found in the Children’s

wing.

The one and only rehearsal will be Friday, December 4 from 4-5:30pm!

JOY TREES

Trees will be up in the Narthex and

Parish Hall on Monday,

November 9 with a total of 250

cards to choose from. Remember these children are

in foster homes and your gifts may be the only ones

they receive. We are the only organization to sponsor these particular

children. PLEASE complete the RED card included with the gift list and drop

it in the RED bag located on the tree. Read instructions on card for drop-off dates and location. ALL gifts MUST be

turned in by December 6. THANK YOU!

Each year, they sell fresh Florida citrus to raise funds for their annual summer tour.

give you the support you need to help reduce the stress level this Christmas season!

world”…the Herdman family, who smoke, steal, and drink jug wine. They go to church for the first time because they hear it serves snacks, and—despite protests from other church members—they are given roles in the Sunday School’s Christmas play, in which they tell the Christmas story in a

most unconventional way.

PRESCHOOL NEWS Everyone had a great time at the Fall Festival (pictures on p.5)!

Thank you to Karen Oothoudt and the Preschool Parent Council for decorating and preparing the food! Thank you to Ansley Campbell for assisting me in purchasing the

potatoes and chili stuff! Thank you to the preschool parents for food donations. Thank you to Seth Pass and the other preschool dads who helped set up and take down the

games. Thank you to Brent Ritter and the Youth for helping the children play the games. Thank you to the teachers for working the dinner and cleaning up afterwards. A BIG

thank you to Martin Pate for sharing his artistic talent with us and making the games for the children. It was so much fun and I appreciate all of you who attended!
