Suicide Intervention Training | 8:30a - 4:30p Monday, March 23 in the Annex Building

From previous participants: “I am the mom of a preteen and usually have a house full of preteen boys. I also volunteer at the school level. I feel more confident in my ability to identify and intervene in case of

suicidal behavior with these children.”

“It is not hyperbole when I say that it was the most impactful professional learning I have

encountered in my 20-year career as an educator. I left the training a different person,

equipped with the skills to save a life.”

“The trainers were great! There was something for every learning style. I am excited about

using this knowledge and training to help our community be a safer place.”

THANK YOU! Thanks to everyone who contributed to the voting of the mosquito costume. We raised

$258 for Imagine No Malaria. That’s enough to help 26 families fight malaria. If you were able to attend the Pancake Supper, you got to see

our winner (Pastor Stuart Greene) buzzing around to help raise awareness.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to see our other pastors (Maria & JoAn) dressed up as well as we continue to raise awareness and funds to

fight malaria.
