The Sermon on the Mount: Studies in Matthew 5-7 & Related Texts The study of Mahew 5-7 and related texts has been a connuing interest of mine since my seminary student days in the 1960s. I never re of coming back re- peatedly to this part of the New Testament for more understanding and for fresh in- sights into Chrisan discipleship. These words of Jesus can never be fully probed so that nothing else is to be learned. This CD is presented in the hope that you will discover, if you haven’t already, what I’ve found over these almost five decades of studying the Sermon on the Mount. The material is presented either in the Adobe pdf file format or else in the web based html format. Parallel online hyperlinks of the files are included as well. Sermon10Studies: The detailed study was presented first as a Sunday evening Church Training program study over a ten week period at the First Bapst Church of Shelby, NC. Sermon29Studies: The exhausve in-depth study was presented through the Wednesday and Friday evening Bible study program at the Inter- naonal Bapst Church in Cologne / Bonn Germany. SermonSupplementary: Addional materials are included that are related to various aspects of the study of the Sermon on the Mount. These have been developed over the past three decades of intensive study for a variety of uses in both the classroom at Southwest- ern Bapst Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, TX and at Gardner-Webb Universi- ty in Boiling Springs, NC., and in churches. Some of this material is available online only.
