Royal Borough Wilton range continues this

tradition. This range is made from 100% pure

new wool carefully sourced from British sheep

and made into our unique range of yarns using

modern spinning and dying techniques.

The Royal Borough Wilton range features three different types of yarn in a

variety of colourways showcasing Axminster Carpets™ excellence in design,

combining beautiful patterns and manufacturing techniques to produce bold

visual effects and tactile textures.

Firstly there is the soft, bouncy yarn in the LEVEL LOOPS; this is then combined

in the FLOAT WEAVE with our exclusive chunky undyed natural yarns which

produces a crochet texture, and finally we present the very fine yarn used in our

FLAT WEAVES to give an elegant, firm finish. All of these yarns are exclusive to

Axminster Carpets™.

Axminster Carpets™ is a family run business based in Axminster, Devon, Great

Britain. The original company was started in 1755 by Thomas Whitty who

developed the technique of making carpets which is now called Axminster

Weave named after the town.
