Dear RH Parents,

It is been an incredible school year. We would like to thank Karen Ward and the entire PTA for their

endless support of our work; including Pride-A-Palooza, Arts Rotation Celebration, After-School Activ-

ities, the Cinderella production, our technology initiative, The SGA, choral/band concerts and

our WillPower Game! Moreover, the Staff Appreciation luncheons and recognitions have been fabu-

lous throughout the year. Our school is wonderful because of the partnerships established through our

volunteerism, the impressive parent relationships and the focus on “Service”;.

Research has shown that students who read over the summer on a regular basis can improve their in-

structional level. Conversely, the research has also shown they can lose an instructional reading level if

they do not have access to reading materials during the long break from school. Please work with

your child to complete the reading and math packets sent home during the last week of school. The

packets are an expectation and will be the first grade of the new marking period when we return to

school. All materials can also be found on our school’s website at

Final report cards will be mailed home on Tuesday, June 25th. Please note that report cards will not

be mailed home to students with negative lunch balances or to those students who have financial obli-

gations with the school (ie. library or textbooks.) You may contact Ms. Bradley at the school if you

have any questions regarding financial obligations.

Thank you all for an amazing school year and CONGRATULATIONS to our 8th graders – We wish

you the best in high school!
