• Acuity, pain, photophobia in association with red eye are worrisome

• Check conjunctivae, acuity, pupil, cornea• Often hard to distinguish causes of

conjunctivitis - ok to use abx when in doubt• Conjunctivitis is contagious• Acute glaucoma - vomiting patient with

dilated pupil
