It’s not always easy to leave Cape Town behind, but this trip of discovery is something I have really been looking forward to doing. It’s up Sir Lowry’s Pass with a last quick glimpse of Table Mountain and then on to the rolling hills of Steenbras and Grebow picture perfect with patches of the bright yellow Canola, that reminded me of a piece of canvas from the self portrait of van Gogh. A quick stop at the Blue Crane & on to Knysna, right turn into George Rex Drive and there secluded along the banks of the Knysna Lagoon in the midst of enchanting woodland gardens is The Premier Hotel Knysna. From the moment you enter the reception area you feel that this will be a special stay, the choice of accommodation will make any Resort green with envy. The 12 Two-bedroom self-catering Villas right on the edge of the lagoon will make you think you have just arrived in Mauritius; this is so well complemented with a good mix of one and two bedroom Suites with a further 24 Deluxe Rooms. The open plan Salmon restaurant incorporating the bar leads you to the secluded swimming pool. Then it’s the conference facilities that will cater for any would be product launch to that special wedding with capacities ranging from 80 to 200 people depending on your choice of set-up. Take the obvious add a cupful of daring, a pinch of imagination a bucketful of courage, stir well bring to a boil and you will have created the best national conference most companies dream about.

The open plan Salmon restaurant incorporating the bar leads you to the secluded swimming pool.

Then it’s the conference facilities that will cater for any would be product launch to that special wedding with capacities ranging from 80 to 200 people depending on your choice of set-up.
