Governance

GOALS1. Develop a structure for the governance of the

Alliance

2. Develop bylaws which provide structure and governance for the Alliance and its Advisory Board

3. Identify a structure for how the Advisory Board will operate and interact with the Alliance and the Mayor’s Commission on Literacy

4. Outline a transition process to support potential future changes to Alliance legal structure

• Needs assessment to identify programmatic needs of Alliance members o Strategy for delivering this assessment annually

• Strategy for the compilation and review of resources currently available and intended audience

• Evaluation template that can be modified for all professional development sessions

• Draft schedule of programmatic activities that can be replicated
