The Commonage Ballroom is available year round and has seating capacity of 150 guests in the 2900 square foot room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course.Conveniently located only 30 minutes from the Kelowna International Airport and minutes away from the Scenic Sip wine district, Predator Ridge is easily accessible for guests, and offers close proximity to some of the Okanagan’s best wineries and beaches so guests can enjoy all that the Okanagan has to offer.

The Commonage Ballroom

Opened in 2016, our banquet facility expansion adds to our already unique and special amenities. This 2,900 sq. ft. space allows for a maximum capacity of 150 guests with an open concept. The facility also includes breathtaking outdoor patio space featuring panoramic golf course and Okanagan Valley views ideal for your wedding ceremony.

Room Block Policy:

Predator Ridge Resort will hold confirmed room blocks until 90 days prior to your wedding date. At 90 days, any rooms that are not released from the block will be considered guaranteed room bookings. Should you not meet the established guaranteed number, and Predator Ridge Resort cannot resell these rooms, the unused/unsold balance will be charged to you.

*Above nightly rates are subject to a 10% nightly resort fee, $2 nightly EcoStay program fee, and applicable taxes.

Things to consider when planning and budgeting:

17 Prices subject to 5% GST, 10% liquor tax, and 18% gratuity

Venue Rental Fee: The venue fee will be $4500+tax for the BALLROOM for the DAY. DAILY is considered to be 7:00am- 1:00am.

Last Call: Last call for beverages will occur at midnight. Wedding Cake/Flowers: Predator Ridge does not take responsibility to store or stage wedding cake and flowers. Please arrange delivery the day of event with your vendors and provide the Group Coordinator with delivery timing and contact information of the vendor.

Wedding Cake Plating: If you would like our staff to cut, plate and garnish wedding cake for your guests this will be $3.00 per person.

Food and Beverage: Predator Ridge must provide all food and beverage consumed on the facilities. Health regulations and liquor licensing do not permit food items or alcohol to be brought into or taken out of our licensed areas. Wedding cakes remain an exception to this policy.

30 Days Prior: 30 days prior to event date, all food and beverage requirements must be guaranteed.

Special Dietary Requests: Depending on volume, special dietary meal requests may be subject to an additional charge of $17.00 plus gratuity and taxes per person to cover additional costs to facilitate requests.

Outside Vendors: Outdoor ceremony chairs and furniture are not provided by the Resort. Predator Ridge is not responsible for the fees associated with third party rental items. All set up and tear down of third party items are the responsibility of the vendor, not the resort.

Dance Floor: Predator Ridge has a 15x15 ft. dancefloor available for rental. Rental fee: $400 + tax.

String Lights: Predator Ridge has patio string lights available for rental. Rental fee: $400 + tax.

Timing: All decor, including flowers, extra linens, table and centerpieces must be removed from the banquet room by 2:00AM.

DJ: Please provide Predator Ridge a copy of the DJ contract with contact information and arrange set up timing directly with the Resort. DJ equipment must vacate the room by 2:00AM.

Music and Licensing (SOCAN) Fees: Without Dancing: $29.56 With Dancing: $59.17

Room Drops: If you require welcome bags delivered to your guests’ rooms, there is a fee of $2.50+tax per bag.

Children: Buffet menu cost: 1-4 years – no charge, 5-11 years – 50% charge, 12+ - full price. For plated service please select the most suitable menu item for young guests.

Deposit/Payment: A non-refundable deposit is required with the return of the signed contract within 14 days to confirm your reservation.

Cancellation Policy: 12 months+ from event date: Full refund of deposit. 61 Days - 12 months: Loss of deposit. Within 60 days of event date: 50% charge of the total estimated event cost.
