KNHS, alongside Topaz

Brigada Eskwela.

According to Mr. Philip John

Mick B. Sinlao, Araling Pan-

lipunan teacher and Supreme

Student Government (SSG)

Adviser, he was surprised that

Dep-Ed Philippines uploaded

the pictures and was also

proud that he was able to help

share the kind of Brigada Im-

With 1.7k likes on the said

dents and teachers of KNHS

were honored by the recogni-

tion for it reflects their partici-

pation in a meaningful drive

such as this community vol-

Throughout the six-day

affair, the entire school com-

flowing presence of volun-

and cleaning which was a re-

liable assistance in preparing

the school not just for the

opening of classes on June

were the speakers for the

Parenting 101 Seminar,

which was held on May 30

and was attended by par-

en them with the Bible's way

of showing affection for children

meant for effective parenting.

On the third and last fo-

Baker and McKenzie (B & M)

served as speakers, in which

the aim was to provide

knowledge for the professional

growth of teachers to cope with

today's generation's technology-

based instruction and learning.

This three-day affair un-

der Brigada Eskwela 2016 was

attended by parents, students

and teachers and all ended suc-

cessfully, giving the audience

essential learnings that they

may apply in their daily lives.

This year's Brigada Eskwela has been an occasion where stakehold-

ers, volunteers, parents, teachers and students gathered to clean, repair and

prepare the school's facilities for school year 2016-2017.This encouraged

volunteerism which ignited the spirit of bayanihan, a quality Filipinos are well

identified of, from various sectors of the community.

Here are some testimonies from participants who devoted their time to make Kalayaan National High School ready for the opening of classes.

“Actually, sobrang nag-improve ang Brigada Eskwela, especially the

sponsors. Sobrang... Wow. I mean, sobrang well-interesting ang

Brigada Eskwela ngayon kasi the whole town nagpaparticipate,

'yung parents, the students and the sponsors. Talagang we did such

a great working with this Brigada Eskwela 2016.”

- Carl Bryan A. Biñas, Supreme Student Government (SSG) President
