This year's Brigada Eskwela has been an occasion where stakehold-
ers, volunteers, parents, teachers and students gathered to clean, repair and
prepare the school's facilities for school year 2016-2017.This encouraged
volunteerism which ignited the spirit of bayanihan, a quality Filipinos are well
identified of, from various sectors of the community.
Here are some testimonies from participants who devoted their time to make Kalayaan National High School ready for the opening of classes.
“Actually, sobrang nag-improve ang Brigada Eskwela, especially the
sponsors. Sobrang... Wow. I mean, sobrang well-interesting ang
Brigada Eskwela ngayon kasi the whole town nagpaparticipate,
'yung parents, the students and the sponsors. Talagang we did such
a great working with this Brigada Eskwela 2016.”
- Carl Bryan A. Biñas, Supreme Student Government (SSG) President
