and engagement. Identify best practices in recruiting, renewing, and sustaining

members of PNAA. Describe several factors which facilitate effective management

meetings leading the team to peak performance, including the habits of highly effective meetings.

Ascertain the responsibilities of the meeting leader in preparing, conducting, and follow up of a meeting.

Describe Grit as a characteristic of transformational leader. Ex-plain the use of emotional intelligence to overcome social com-plexities of a nurse leader.

OVERVIEW The Regional Leadership Institute aims to provide innovative, diverse, practical knowledge and strategies on members’ onboarding and engagement, on conducting a highly effective management meeting, cultivating and building leadership Grit and the use of emotional intelligence for transformational leaders. The Leadership Institute is open to all chapter members, offic-ers, leaders, and potential future leaders; there is no limit to the number of chapter members who may attend for $60.00 each. We highly recommend the program for chapter, and subchapter’s president and president-elect. The chapter and subchapter’s president will receive free registration. PNAA Executive Board Members and PNAA Past-presidents will also receive free registration.
