An Expo of this nature will also attract people from outside the province and provide extra work as well as marketing opportunities.

Around 200 stalls are available and according to calculations at least 5000 visitors per day can be expected at the expo.

The Ruff Stuff Outdoor Expo will provide entertainment for the whole family with a multitude of products on show that will change the way you look at outdoor activities.

North West Province is getting its own prestigious outdoor expo. The RuffStuff Outdoor Expo will be held from 6 - 10 October 2015 at Potchefstroom’s scenic Senwes Park grounds of North West Cricket.

The organisers guarantee a panorama of spectacular exhibitions relating to outdoor activities. Fishing, boating, cycling, archery, hunting, 4x4, water sports, outdoor hobbies, tourism, guest houses & hotels, holiday destina-tions and outdoor accessories to name but a few. The RuffStuff Outdoor Expo, with its multitude of exhibitors and exciting activities, will provide entertainment for the whole family and will certainly change the way you look at the outdoors.

The North West Province is one of the only provinces that have not yet hosted an outdoor exhibition, so there have been limited opportunities for the promotion of tourism activities within the province. The RuffStuff Outdoor Expo will fill this gap and provide impressive opportunities for players in the outdoor industry.

North West Cricket, whose grounds play host to both international and domestic cricket matches, will also get the chance to promote their excellent facilities at the outdoor expo. Visitors to the outdoor expo can also join in on the fun and games by participating in the Cricket Union’s annual mini-golf event that will take place on the cricket grounds during the five-day expo. This will give visitors a chance to appreciate the magic of the whole stadion.

The organisers believe that this quality outdoor expo is a welcome addition to the North West Province and a unique contribution to tourism in South Africa. The RuffStuff Outdoor Expo will draw people from outside the prov-ince and will create employment and marketing opportunities for the whole of Potchefstroom.
