The NationalWhiteRibbonAgainstPornography(WRAP)Week brings
together hundreds of na onal, state and local groups, along with
driven concerned ci zens in a massive effort to educate the
public on the harms from pornography and the many resources
available to aid those affected. Na onal WRAP Week always
starts the last Sunday of October.

Invitation to All Saints Day Candlelight Memorial Mass
Sunday, November 1st at 6:30pm in Church
Dear Friends of St. Jude Parish: This year our parish will celebrate a special Mass of remembrance in honor of our deceased loved ones. This Mass will take place on the evening of Sunday, November 1st at 6:30pm in church. I extend a special invita on to you and any of your family members and friends to a end this Mass and to par cipate by ligh ng a special candle for your deceased loved one. Prior to this date we will prepare a special individual memorial candle for:
<Insert Name Here> The name of your departed loved one, along with the names of all other Saint Jude Parishioners who died during this past calendar year will be called out individually. At the end of Mass, you and your family will be invited to receive and take your candle home with you. If you would like to par cipate by being present during this Mass and ligh ng your family’s candle, I would ask that you please contact Linda at the St. Jude Parish Office no later than Wednesday, October 28th at 225.766.2431. Our music ministry is preparing special music for this very important occasion. I truly hope that you will consider joining us as we remember those who have gone before us.

the USCCB is offering an electronic Election Novena to help Catholics form their consciences as they prepare for the
upcoming election.
For nine consecutive days, Monday, October 26 through Tuesday, November 3, participants will be encouraged to pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be for the day’s intention. A closing prayer for elected
leaders will be offered on day 10, Wednesday, November 4.
