The Mystery of Egypt Pyramids of Giza Inside the Hidden Doors
History is one of the greatest mysteries hounding mankind since he came to realize his existence
on earth. Historians around the world have been working on the scents of the mysteries of the
past since they realized the significance of history and culture. The Egyptian culture has been
dived into for signs and traces of antiquity ever since to discover the past of pharaohs and kings
who reigned over Egypt.
Pyramids Are Important Memoirs of Pharaohs
The pyramids were constructed by the pharaohs as vehicles to transport them to a better world
after they died. The ancient Egyptians believed in life after death. They strongly believed that
their pharaohs would need all the necessities and luxuries of life even after death, and the Egypt
pyramids were constructed to carry their king, the pharaoh, to the other world with his luxuries
and possessions. The pyramids were frequently plundered and looted for all the wealth they had.
Egyptologists have discovered a typical connection between the stars and the Egypt pyramids.
The pyramids of Giza hold significance from an astrologer's point of view. The Orion
constellation is aligned with the great pyramid of Khufu, Pyramid of Khafre and Pyramid of
Menkaure. The Great pyramids are built in such a manner that they embrace the equinoxial
phases of the solar cycle. It remains the only wonder of the ancient world that can be seen from
the moon.
Each base of The Great Pyramid is 750 feet long. The circumference comes to be 2,250 feet.
When this is compared to its original height, the ratio comes out to be 3.14, the value of pi. It
took modern mankind several millennia to arrive at the figure and to understand its significance.
The precise mathematical and astronomical knowledge of the ancient Egyptians remains a
mystery even for contemporary historians. Four shafts have been identified to emanate from the
burial chambers in the Great Pyramid. These shafts lead to the open sky. There have been
theories of these shafts being the paths for the pharaoh’s soul to paradise. Some say they were
meant to provide ventilation to the pyramid while it was being built.
The Pyramid of Giza was built over a period of about 20 years. Hundreds and thousands of
workers toiled hard day and night to complete the Herculean task of building the pyramid for
their king. These workers were farmers who tilled the land around the river Nile, and worked as
construction workers when the Nile was in flood. Some say they were slaves who had to work
under inhumane conditions, while others are of the belief the slaves were treated quite well. s
Some believe people from outer space built the pyramids, but this is considered to be a remote
possibility. The waters of the Nile served as the medium for transport for the building material
that makes up the pyramids of Giza. A great percentage of the material was shifted from
different places in the southern parts of Egypt aboard boats and barges over the Nile.
