Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd. The fair is a part of Messe Frankfurt’s building and energy shows, headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, which will take place from 13 – 18 March 2016.

Tap fast-growing marketsAccording to a McKinsey Report, the total market value for the lighting industry is expected to grow by 5% annually until 2016. Asia is expected to account for approximately 43% of the global lighting market by 2020.

LEDinside predicted the global lighting market value will reach US 82.1 billion in 2015. LED lighting will account for nearly one third, or US 25.7 billion, of this figure. It is predicted China will take 21% of the global LED lighting market, and demand for LEDs in China will continue to increase next year.
