The Tenors — Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray, Remigio Pereira and Fraser Walters — have inspired millions of music lovers with their rich harmonies, addictive charm and powerful songs. This dazzling new concert takes place in the breathtaking 2,050-seat Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center, where The Tenors perform music from their newly released sophomore album Lead With Your Heart. She could fall down a flight of stairs or hold her own in a duet with Julie Andrews. Yet, as with so many brilliant comedians, hers was a difficult childhood. Celebrate the centennial of Woody Guthrie’s birthday with John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello, Donovan, Ani DiFranco, Rosanne Cash, The Old Crow Medicine Show and more. Recorded live at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, this concert honors the music of America’s great folk singer.

The music of The Moody Blues has spanned many generations — touching people’s emotions with songs

about life experiences. This enduring quality and the band’s beloved status among fans are truly evident in

this concert taped live in 2000 specifically for PBS. The band performed many of their classic hits in this iconic

London venue such as “Nights in White Satin,” “The Story in Your Eyes” and “Tuesday Afternoon.”

Tuesday, June 11 @ 8:30PMWriter, folklorist and anthropologist Zora Neale Hurston, a celebrated (and

sometimes controversial) figure of the Harlem Renaissance, first rose to prominence with Mules and Men (1935) and cemented her reputation soon after with her 1937 masterwork, Their Eyes Were Watching God. However, few know about the woman behind this widely read and highly acclaimed novel — particularly the last 10 years of her life. This documentary delves into the writer’s life, work and philosophies,

concentrating on her very productive, but often overlooked, final decade. Interviews with Hurston experts and colleagues, letters from Hurston, and archival photographs

piece together this fascinating chapter in the life of an American literary icon.

Season 13 Starting Monday, June 10Antiques Roadshow, with host Mark L. Walberg, opens its lucky 13th season in Palm Springs, California, with a mix of great good fortune and an equally staggering loss. At one extreme, Roadshow experts discover the most valuable object ever appraised on the series: a 1937 painting by noted American abstract expressionist Clyfford Still — received as a housewarming gift — conservatively estimated to be worth $500,000. At the other, collector Jim McCarty invites Roadshow viewers to join the hunt for stolen works from his private collection of California plein air paintings.

world of undertaking in the black community, drawing on a rich palette of tradition, history and celebration. The film paints a

portrait of the departed, their grieving families and a man who sends loved ones “home.”

ANNIE: It's the Hard Knock Life, From Script to StageFriday, June 28 @ 8PMFor Annie’s return to Broadway, this documentary offers a memorable behind-the-scenes look at every step of a single Annie production number, from the earliest phases of discussion among the creative team, rehearsals with actors, to opening night on Broadway. Through the staging of the song “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” viewers are introduced to the work of the actors who play the orphans and the professionals who shape and contribute to the final production of the song.
