• Know the privacy settings of the software you are using
• Don’t give out personal information that tells people where you live unless you know people well
• Consider multiple identities

• Filters only work with very young children• Have computers in a public space in the home
until at least high school age• TALK to your children about what they do• Discuss VALUES, and what is and what is not
approriate• Ask your children’s teachers if they do this at
school

identity (Have more than one identity)
