FLEA MARKET AT IMMANUEL – SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 8 AM
UNTIL 1 PM
The Board of Lay Ministry and the Immanuel Compassion
Center will come together and sponsor a Flea Market at
Immanuel on Saturday, June 1 from 8 AM until 1 PM. Our
Flea Market will take place on both the upper lot off of Loch
Raven Blvd and on the lower lot adjacent to Nasco Place.
We anticipate that participation will be sufficient so that
both spaces would be utilized. Members and friends are
invited to set up a table at a cost of $10 per table.
Participants would be asked to bring their own table(s) to
the site and set up within the space designated. You can
reserve your space for a table by calling Laura at the church
office (410-435-6861) or by sending an email to
[email protected]. The $10 participation fee
can then be sent to or dropped off at the church office.
We are also inviting our ministry partners to participate
which include Mt. Zion Church, the Eritrean church, Wings,
the Loch Raven Improvement Association, and Mr. Robert
Madden. We will also invite folks working over at Good
Samaritan Hospital to participate, pending approval of
promoting the Flea Market within the hospital as well as to
publicize our Flea Market at other neighborhood churches.
Please sign up for your table space early as we are
anticipating that space will be sold out prior to June 1.
We consider the Flea Market as an outreach opportunity.
Volunteers are needed to greet people who attend and be
willing to speak to them about ministry at Immanuel. We
hope to be able to provide those who are interested with
an opportunity to walk through our sanctuary and the
compassion center space so that they might better
understand our local ministry efforts.
Please reserve your table space not later than Tuesday,
May 28. Don’t want to sponsor a table? Please volunteer
as someone who might help prepare and distribute the hot
dogs and snack food that we plan to provide at no cost to
our guests that day. Or, volunteer to man the “Immanuel
Outreach Table” and distribute information about our
church and compassion center and/or perhaps take folks on
a walk through of our church. We will also need help with
the set up and clean up for the Flea Market. Volunteer by
calling or writing to the church office and leaving your
name and how you can help. We hope to see you there as
a table sponsor or volunteer helper. Questions? Call the
church office and someone will get back to you. See you on
June 1!
