INVENTING THE TELEPHONE

The telephone started as a harmonic telegraph

In 1875, Bell was able to create a telephone like device

In 1876, Bell had successfully made a telephone that worked over 4 miles away

WITH OUT THE PHONE,

Just about every war after 1876 would have been lost

We would have telegraph booths instead of phone booths

We wouldn’t have cell phones, pagers, fax machines, or iPhones

Texting would be Morse code, sent from a telegraph in your house, to another one in your friends.

BELL’S WORK CONTINUED

Alexander Graham Bell’s work is still being continued to this very day. Any new cellphone, iPhone, or change to the Bell telephone company, is directly effecting something Alexander worked on, over 100 years ago. So, next time you’re texting your friends, or ordering delivery pizza, think about before Alexander. “.. / .-- --- ..- .-.. -.. / .-.. .. -.- . / ..--- / -- . -.. .. ..- -- / .--. . .--. .--. . .-. --- -. .. / .--. .. --.. --.. .- ... / .--. .-.. . .- ... . .-.-.-” means “I would like 2 medium pepperoni pizzas please.”
