TRANSCRIPT
I think everyone in at-
tendance had a good time
and plenty to eat. Thanks
to Amber and our leader-
ship staff for organizing
and cooking the food.
Thanks for working with
us as we continue with
our budget challenges. I
want everyone to know
that you are appreciated
and because of you we
are able to succeed in
everything that we do.
As always, my door stays
open. Stop by and say
hello when you’re in the
area.

Autumn marks the transi-
tion from summer into
winter, in September,
when the arrival of night
becomes noticeably earli-
er while the arrival of day
becomes noticeably later,
and the temperature
cools down considerably.
One of its main features
is the shedding of leaves.
As we watch leaves flut-
tering to the ground in
the fall, we are reminded
that nature's cycles are
mirrored in our lives.
Autumn is a time for let-
ting go and releasing
things that have been a
burden to us. Lots has
been accomplished in our
organization, KUC was
merged into the zones
helping us build a strong-
er team. Our Maximo
CMMS is progressing
forward and many parts
of the system are now
working better for us.
Please get with Shawn
Harding if you are having
problems with the sys-
tem. We had a great
burger feast followed by
breakfast and supper for
our 2nd and 3rd shift staff.
Thanks to everyone who
attended these functions.

If you need a re-placement ID—present the non-working card to your supervi-sor who will contact Amber.
The Employee Advisory
Council board has been meet-

and hopefully more can be
achieved. The current board
members will stand with elec-
tions taking place in July
2017. The next meeting is
set for November and notices
will be sent out for the prima-
ry representatives to attend.
Going forward role will be
taken, those who wish to
speak need to notify the
council ahead of time and be
placed on the agenda. Sug-
gestions can still be placed in
the suggestion box but the

suggestions or complaint you

Zone 4: He said it was the best den he’s ever walked into! Very clean and organized was easy to put items away and scan. Great job getting that pulled together!! Good job Zone 4!! Thanks for mak-ing it easy, it is appreciated. Julie Bellucci Zone 5: Kristina Glick from 225D Strong Hall called just now to thank the custodial crew who took care of SR R173118 (WO 17105033 for carpet cleaning). They went above and beyond and didn’t just clean the carpet, but cleaned off the window sills and dusted. She said they did a really good job, she mentioned Chris Mills as being on some kind of note, and really wanted to let everyone know how grateful they are in the Business and Financial Planning office. Zone 5: I wanted to take a moment to let you know how grateful the Provost Office is to the Facilities staff and how extremely accommo-dating they are and have been. From the staff processing the work orders, to those answering the phone, to those scheduling, to those doing the physical work – THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Everything they have done and continue to do for our office is very much appreciated. Thank you!!!! Sharon Parnell, Provost Office Zone 2: I wanted to thank you and your staff for a great summer and wonderful job that they have done getting the buildings ready for fall move in. The turns in buildings(summer conferences), the hard work from the custodial staff, and the smiles I see. We have so many thank you’ s and way to go’s all around! We all are a team and we can succeed with great communica-tion and understanding. Alicia, Jessica and John to you and your staff, THANK YOU! Lisa Lynn Stratton, Custodial Coor-dinator for Guest Services Landscaping: I would like to thank you all very much for a job WELL
DONE! The landscaping around the engineering complex, in particular the small area north of Spahr Library looks amazing! Your efforts are greatly appreciated! Regards - Craig Calixte Zone 6: I just want to let you know that move-in went very well yester-day and wanted to thank your maintenance and custodial staff for a job well. Any issues that arose, they were willing and ready to help with. They helped put out more than a couple “fires” and made it easier for the parents to focus on moving their child to a home away from home. Thanks to all that made this a smooth move in day! Aaron Elms, Operations Coordinator Zone 4: I realized this when I was here Tuesday evening when the chiller pump went down and A house overheated. Chet was on call. He came in and did an excel-lent job handling the whole situation, with Jeff giving him pointers over the phone. He was so excited that he was able to handle the emergency alone. I congratulated him and told him he did a great job, but I thought to share this. Thank you, Katie Sadler, Greenhouse Manager Zone 5: What I want to do was to say a big Thank you! to whomever cleaned up in our department last night. After much debris was in the area while work was being done, this morning when I came in, I pulled up short when I turned into my area. My work area had been cleaned overnight, and all that junk and trash that had been on the carpet was gone!!!! It was incredible to see! Everything had been cleaned up. This has made my day, so I wanted to thank the person (people?) who cleaned up last night in the catalog-ing department. S/he (they) did a wonderful job! Thank you! Daniel Sodders Zone 3: I wanted to share with you how pleased I am with a new update in Murphy Hall. The students are grateful for the new water/bottle
fountain and I’m appreciative of the fantastic job the crew did to make the area look nice again. Thank you Leslie O’Neil, Office Manager Lockshop/Stan Flory: Thank you, Stan for top-notch ser-vice! VERY MUCH APPRECIAT-ED!!! Mary F. Karten As usual you are quick and awe-some! Thanks so much to all of you. Happy weekend! Reiske, R.A., Associate Director Zone 4: Thanks, Tommy. It looks pretty cool. Ann or I will get back with you asap. Also, thanks for always being availa-ble and having the time to meet with us monthly. We couldn’t ask for a better Zone 4 manager. Penny Hodges, School of Journal-ism
