PROGRAM OUTLINEMOD 1 – THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE RECRUITING AND ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Participants will explore the significance of student buying behaviors on recruitment approaches through time, and understand why now is an ideal time to change. The four key skills for admissions success are quantified for focus throughout the program.

MOD 2 – ETHICS AND COMPLIANCE

Educational options are explored further to expand resourcefulness. Participants also explore cultural and organizational alignment with their own core values. Upon completion of this module, participants will have a clear sense of the significant role they play in student and organizational success.

MOD 3 – NEW TOOLS TO IMPROVE CONNECTIONS

Borrowing some of the best elements from 7/8th Selling®, this module focuses on extensive self-discovery and new skills to connect with today’s students in new and meaningful ways.

MOD 4 – THE STUDENT COUNSELING APPROACH (SCA)

The four stages of the SCA are explored in depth as the framework for working with prospective students in the decision making process. Specific areas of focus include developing a relationship, exploration and informed assessment, eliciting states using NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming®), identifying challenges and resources, establishing mutually agreed upon goals and objectives and effective implementation and follow-up.

MOD 5 – THE POWER OF QUESTIONS

This module is dedicated to understanding the theory behind well-formed questions in an ethical sales process. Participants will modify existing questions as well as develop meaningful questions to improve effectiveness.

MOD 6 – PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER!

This final module provides the ultimate structure for admissions professionals to use all their new knowledge and skills! The SCA Lattice Framework® is introduced as a tool to apply new learning with “guardrails” for compliance and effectiveness. The key skills for success are revisited with special focus on attitude.
