The emperor is at the Royal Palace, in the dressing room.  

He is trying on some clothes and other accessories, looking at himself in the mirror.

He doesn´t like his clothes!!! - What terrible colours! Red, yellow, green, pink, orange…

- Ugly… big… small… green?! I hate green!!!!!So, the Emperor calls for his tailor to bring him a new suit.

The tailor brings a shirt, trousers, shoes… The Empress and the tailor think the clothes are

wonderful…but the Emperor thinks everything is horrible, green, ugly or big.

Suddenly the Emperor has an idea: The emperor fires the tailor out and writes and advert:

“Tailor Wanted for the Emperor’s New Suit”.

Bob and Tim are in the street. They are hungry and they have no food to eat.

They read the notice and decide to go to the palace to be the Emperor´s new tailors.

Bob and Tim are ìmpressed with the emperor´s nose, mouth, eyes, hair, ears, hands and bottom

- Don’t cry, your Majesty. Stand up, stick out your chest, head up, lift your chin, and pull in your belly! We have the solution.

They say the emperor they have a very beautiful, surprising, delicate, unique, especial and magical

cloth for him. But only intelligent people can see it.

- I want my new clothes ready for Sunday, so that I can go for a walk around the city wearing it.

Tim and Bob pretend they are working very hard and the emperor is so happy that gives them bags of

money.

The empress says:- I can’t see anything, but if they say that only intelligent stylish people can see it, I will say I can. - Bravo! Bravissimo! I will tell the Emperor how great his suit is looking.

On Sunday the Emperor puts on his new suit and he asks the empress:

- What do you think of my new suit?- Oh! It’s wonderful! It fits you perfectly! Excellent!

He is happy and proud so he goes for a walk through the city. A boy sees him and shouts:

- The Emperor has no clothes! Can’t you see? He is naked. He isn’t wearing anything!

Quick! Let’s get out of here. How embarrassing! Shame on me!
