There will be a Mass for Life, August 31st., at Our Lady of

Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Rd., Aurora, Il. at 9:00

a.m. After Mass, there will be a 10:00 a.m. Rosary Procession

to Planned Parenthood (1.4 miles) and speaker Nancy Kreu-

zer will share her personal story about the loss and grief of

abortion, and how the love and mercy of God healed and

transformed her life. There is a free shuttle bus between the

church and Planned Parenthood if needed.

My dear parishioners, This Thursday (Aug. 15th) is the Solemnity of the As-sumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a Holy Day of Obliga-tion. At all the Masses for the Holy Day, I plan to renew publicly our three parishes’ consecration to Mary’s Immaculate Heart. Be-low is the consecration prayer we will use at the Holy Day Mass-es. I encourage you to hold on to this bulletin and bring it with you to Mass on the Holy Day so that you can pray it aloud with me.
