LEVELS OF SCHOOLS IN JORDAN.• The first level is Primary school its from grade 1-10.• Length of program : 10 years.• Ages from 6 to 16 years old .• The second level is comprehensive secondary ( high school ) its

from 11-12 grade .• Ages from 16-18 years old .• The third level is college .• Ages 18 to 23.

HOURS OF SCHOOL + SCHOOL DAYS • Hours of school its all the same for every level but in college

it’s a little bet longer.• 8:00 am to 2:00 pm . College from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm .• Semester one is from September to end of January .• Semester two is from Febreuary to end of June .• Colleges only get 2 months off .

COST OF SCHOOLS • public schools are free and there is no buses you can go

walking or you can get a ride.• Private schools cost 1.000$ to 7.000$per year .

VACATIONS TIMES • 1st : September to end of January • 2st : February to June • Eid : 1 week • Christmas : 2 weeks only in private schools

UNIFORMS • In public schools we don’t wear uniforms • In private schools you have to wear uniforms • Colors : blue and white usually

DISCIPLINE • If the problem wasn’t that big you will get a warning.• If you get in trouble the second time u will get a second

warning .• The third time u will get suspended for 3 days .• Teachers can hit you by a ruler • Now teachers cant hit you
