The Beginning• Hitler was forming

concentration camps and forcing Jewish into them

• Was against all people who were different- the Jewish, crippled people, and different races besides pure German

• Margot Frank (Anne’s Sister) was called to go to a concentration camp

• The Frank family decided to go into hiding instead of reporting to the Nazis

Moving into the Attic• Left notes saying they were

leaving the country to fool others

• Family moved into attic of Otto Frank’s company warehouse

• Wore many layers of clothing instead of carrying suitcases so as to not look suspicious

• Had people who helped the Frank family such as Miep Gies.
