This facsimile is from an original copy in the British

Museum. There are other examples in Bodley ami at South

Kensington (Dyce).

For what is known of Munday see the "D.N.B." but as

I have already pointed out the bibliography there given of the subject

of the memoir is not always accurate.

The present reproduction is, subject to the usual limitations

of collotype, very well done indeed. Here and there is observable

the barest tendency to excess in tone, but beyond that there is little,

if anything, on which to remark.
