 The Curse of FreemanElementary

Part 1  Hi I’m Danny short for Danielle blah, blah, blah. I’m twelve

going on thirteen my birthday is on Friday I can’t wait but I havetoo. One day I was walking around Freeman Elementary, making

sure all the doors were locked for our principal Ms. Alexander. As I

was heading to the vending machine I checked a door that said

“Emergency items inside.” I opened the door, switched on the

light, and stared in amazement…………….to be continued….

Part 2

  I saw a set of spiral stairs. I was curious so I started walking

and walking. I finally reached the bottom there was a table and a

 bookshelf on the table was one book. I walked to it with my heart

 beating fast. I read the title THE CURSE. I immediately took the

 book, ran upstairs, turned off the light, closed the door, and locked

it. I went to Ms. Alexander and told her I was leaving. She said

“Okay.” I ran all the way home. I got into the bed and read the

 book. It said DON’T READ ALOUD! Just then “BOOM!” my

 brother J-Dee burst into the room and said “Danny will you read

me a scary story?” “Sure,” I replied.Part 3

  I read the book aloud to J-Dee. Tuesday school went by fast

 but since I read that book everybody teachers included were acting

like mindless zombies. I got home and got in the bed. My

homework was half done. I was tired so I closed my eyes. Colors

filled my head. They spelled out the words curse on Freeman.

WHOA! I woke up and it was 3:00a.m. 5 hours until school starts.

“I better finish this homework,” I whispered.

“Oh my god” Jesse said. “There’s a curse on Freeman!” “Yeah and

I caused it,” I said. “Well I’m glad I’ve been sick.” “Well bye seeyou tomorrow”

Part 4

“Whoa. It is weird like you said.” “Duh,” I replied giggling.

“Hey you want to go down where you found that book?” “Sure.

I’ve been meaning to return it anyway.” We ran fast down the

spiral staircase. When we reached the bottom our jaws hung low in

confusion. There were colors everywhere like in my weird dream.

Then a man dressed like a squirrel came out the colors. “Are youDanielle?” he asked in a commanding voice. “Y..y..Yes,” I

managed to choke out. “Do you know why you’re here?” “N..n…

n..no.” “WELL LISTEN HERE! You have set a curse on this

school.” “Duh! I kind of already knew that,” I said sarcastically.

“Look here little girl. I take sass from no child. Get yourself 

together!” I threw the book in the colors. “Hey Danny, Danny

everybody’s back!” Yes it worked!
