Cassandra Freeman

Cassandra Freeman was born in Oakland, California. Her family would later relocate to Elizabeth City, North Carolina where in the 2nd grade

her passion for being an entrepreneur was born with her first business of creating Yarn Jewelry. She went on to attend Northeastern High School

graduating with full honors and was also very successful as an entrepreneur with a nail salon in her parents home. Cassandra graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Science Education. While studying at East Carolina University, Cassandra met her husband and they married on March 10, 2007. They currently reside happily in Chester, Virginia with their four boys Jacob, Jonah, Jonathan, and Joshua.

Cassandra has been an active mother in her children's lives. She has been a soccer mom for several years, a marathon mom by running the Shamrock 8K with her kids three years in a row, and maintained various PTA Board positions. She began a Kids Can Vote campaign that started in her home in 2008. She set up a booth for kids in her local community to place mock votes, receive an “I am a voter” identification card, and provided fun voting coloring pages to help families raise kids that vote. She has been and continues to be a remarkable student, graduating valedictorian in her Masters degree program of Innovation in Entrepreneurship followed by another Masters Degree in Internet Marketing. She is the author of three books. Cassandra launched Thoughtful Inspirations in 2013. Soon after she won the Small Business Award from the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia in 2014. She is a member of International Positive Psychology Association, Toastmasters, American Psychological Association, Women’s Speaker Association, Public Speakers Association, and she serves as secretary of Beyond Toastmasters of Richmond.

Cassandra is currently a business owner, speaker, and doctoral student studying psychology. In addition to her doctoral studies, she also continues her personal growth studies through being enrolled in Sam Chand’s Leadership Institute, Success Academy by Jim Rohn, Zig Ziglar Leadership Training, John Maxwell Maximum Impact Mentoring, and Bishop T.D. Jakes Envision training. In October of 2016 Cassandra recently graduated as a God’s Leading Lady, an organization created by Bishop T.D. Jakes wife, First Lady Serita Jakes.

Cassandra’s vision is to help families find creative ways to succeed together and become their best selves.

Cassandra Freeman is known as the “Inspiration Lady” -- as a wife, mother of four boys and founder of Thoughtful Inspirations, she is driven to help other families achieve their dreams by sharing the lessons she learned on her way to success as an entrepreneurial mother. Her goal-oriented tools such as the “Successful Journey Chart”, ‘Study Skills for Parents’ book and motivational e-courses are just a few of the resources she offers to get you on the fast track towards maximizing your family’s po-tential. As a speaker, she has empowered hundreds of women and families. Seeing others become their best selves and pursue their wildest dreams is what motivates her.
