The colosseum is in Rome, Italy it is a great place to come see, you can still hear the clash of swords when you go in.

How old is the colosseum you may ask it in fact was started building In 70 A.D but unfortunately he died before construction finished, he died about half way through so his son finished of what his farther started and the colosseum was actually named was a Latin name called Flavium Amphitheatre.
