History of Industrialization of Jalna

• Historically Jalna is known for its Agriculture Produce Trade Center.

• Cash Rich Trading Centre under Nizam State Most prosperous town in Marathwada.

• Enterprising Traders started Forward Integration by establishing Dal Mills, Oil Mills, Ginning Industries & Beedi Production.

• Killa-Gin was established in 1902. Still flourishing under Bagadia Family.

• Mulchand Bhagwandas was established in 1911. Still flourishing under Bagadia family.

• Bajrang Dal-Mill established in 1951. Still young and expanding.
