Where Did They Live

• The Choctaw Tribe lived in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida.

• The Choctaw Tribe lived in villages, small corn fields, and houses.

Clothing

• The Choctaw women wore wrap around skirts made of deer skin or woven fiber.

• The Choctaw men wore breechcloths.

• Both Choctaw men and women wore poncho-style capes in cold weather.

• The Choctaw Indians ate corn, beans, squash, melons, and sunflower seeds.

• The Choctaw Indians got their food by farming and hunting.
