Spring is Sprung... The birth of a baby goat has heralded the arrival of spring at Celtic Harmony Camp! Valentina was born on St Valentine’s Day and is now poking her nose through the fence at the other young goats. It’s wonderful to see the woodland coming back tolife. For a very few weeks at this time of year it is possible to tap the rising sap from the silver birches. You can use it to make wine or syrup, or just drink it to help build you up after the winter!In the Celtic Iron Age the festival of Imbolc was celebrated on 1st February. It is lambing time, the end of the winter hunting season, and soon there will be milk from the goats and ewes for making cheese.
