2010’s: Web 2.0 based resources; uploaded assignments; forum, videoconference, skype & email tutor support

Objectives were to:
Provide remote online access to practical work for Masters-level NDT students
Create a customised online Learning Environment using Web 2.0 tools
Enable simultaneous remote control connectivity, video and voice communications
Integrate the remote access and communications with Learning Environment functionality
Rationale: In many subject areas, practical work is in some way computer controlled and, if remote access can be gained to those computers, then we have the basis for carrying out the practical work at a distance
