April will be the biggest month in Club Banora’s history, with an unprecedented 29 days straight of games, activities and fun for kids, more live music and shows, and non-stop entertainment for every member of the family.

The program kicks off on Sunday 1 April from 12pm with a special Easter Kids Day, Easter Egg hunt, a visit from the Easter bunny, games and activities for children of all ages.

The fun continues right through to Sunday 29 April, taking in Queensland school holidays (30 March to 16 April) and New South Wales holidays (13-29 April).

refreshments hub, will be set up near the Greens at Club Banora, serving drinks and snacks. Bring along a picnic rug or folding chairs and relax on the greens for the kids’ movies every Thursday and Sunday from 6pm.

Two huge fireworks displays will take place at Club Banora (Thursday 26 April) and Juniors (Sunday 29 April).

There will be increased entertainment indoors at Club Banora during April with additional programming to include live music Tuesday to Sunday nights.

There will be four massive Friday night shows on the Club Banora stage from 7.30pm: Electric 80s (6 April); KISSperience (13 April); Creedence: The John Fogerty Show (20 April); and ABBAlive (27 April).

The family can enjoy a night of rock’n’roll every Saturday at Club Banora from 7.30pm, with PPR Express (7 April); Buddy Love & The Tremors

(14 April); Cooly Rocks On favourites, The Shuffle Boys (21 April); and Wally & The Gators (28 April).

Juniors gets in on the April action too with activities and entertainment for the kids every Wednesday and Sunday, including giant outdoor games, roving performers, costume characters and bubble shows.

Throughout April, there will be live entertainment at Juniors on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm and Sundays from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.

Getting around your local Clubs will be easy with additional club-to-club bus services during April between Twin Towns, Juniors and Club Banora. Travel between the Clubs with the kids and make the most of the program.

THE BIGGEST GAMES IN APRIL ARE AT YOUR LOCAL

Between Wednesday 4 April and Sunday 15 April, members who visit Twin Towns or Club Banora or Twin Towns Juniors for 10 consecutive days will go in the draw to win one of the three Sea-Doo jet skis. Visit one Club every day or visit all three Clubs every day and triple your chances of winning a brand-new Sea-Doo jet ski.

While you are at the Club, you must make a qualifying purchase. Participating outlets include all dining venues and bars at Twin Towns, Club Banora and Twin Towns Juniors and your daily ‘qualifier’ can be as simple as a drink, a coffee, a snack or a meal.

There will be three draws; one at each of the Clubs and each Club will have its own winner. The winner of each jet ski will be randomly drawn from members who completed the 10 day Marathon at that Club.

Members must be present for the draw at the Club you attended for 10 consecutive days to claim the Sea-Doo Jet ski.

Four BIG Friday nights in April A highlight on the April kids’ program at Club Banora will be Tony’s Reptile display on the Greens at Club Banora on Wednesday 4 April from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and Thursday 26 April from 3pm to 6pm.

This fun and educational display includes frogs, turtles, six different species of lizards and three different species of snakes, and of course, the show would not be complete without a crocodile.

The kids get to touch and feel the different reptiles and gain some insight into their lives, including the many myths and misconceptions surrounding them, in particular, the venomous snake species.

Creedence: The John Fogerty Show Friday 20 April 7.30pmCelebrate the timeless hits of Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Fogerty on this rock’n’roll journey through the swamps and bayous of America’s South to the soundtrack of America’s greatest band. Recreating the mighty, bluesy roar that was Fogerty’s trademark, the band performs the CCR classics, including Bad Moon Rising, Green River, Proud Mary, Born on the Bayou and many more.
