Look at the facts of The American Prohibition in the 1920s Look at the facts of The American Prohibition in the 1920s. Prohibition was a period of nearly 14 years in which the manufacture, sale and transportation of all sorts of alcohol was made illegal. This resulted in a huge crime wave and the plan was eventually abandoned as a failure in the 1930s. What kinds of crimes do you think this couldve caused? Scenario- Making Changes!
