WHY

IS A STRONG, HEALTHY BODY CRITICAL?

➢ Because Your Health’s your No1 Life AND Business Asset

You don’t have to be 50 or 60 years old to understand that all the success, money,

accomplishments, cars, houses and whatever else you think you’re after…Means

NOTHING if you are sick and/or feel like shit.

Yet, most entrepreneurs today are overworked, chronically stressed, have poor

sleep, never exercise and are overweight too.

The price they pay for that is rather high.

Not only that they always feel tired, exhausted and low-energy, but the silent voice

creeping in the back of their head keeps telling them no amount of money can ever

fill the hole in their self-confidence.

No award or recognition will make them feel less embarrassed to take their shirt

off at the beach.

And any success they work so hard for will be tainted by feelings of guilt, shame

and unworthiness. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

You CAN be as sexy as your bank account.

The quality of your body CAN match the quality of your mind.

You CAN have money, fulfilling relationships AND a sexy, hot body.

You truly CAN have it ALL!

My definition of an entrepreneur who’s truly made it, is:

It all starts with feeling good. Which then leads to freedom. But neither of those

As a former fat kid, I know how that feels. That’s why I created this guide. It’ll

THE #1 THING KEEPING YOU

FROM LOSING WEIGHT AND GETTING RIPPED

From all of the years of studying psychology, motivation and success, I’ve

concluded that the simplest things can have an enormous, life-changing impact.

And that the No.1 obstacle keeping most entrepreneurs from building a great body

can be summed up in one word - AWARENESS.

Every entrepreneur has different levels of it, and more even – various levels of it in

various aspects of their lives.

That being said, ALL entrepreneurs need to reach at least the minimum threshold

of awareness in the 6 core areas that have to do with health. You’ll struggle with at

least one (more likely a few) of the 6 pillars necessary to build a strong, lean,

healthy and sexy body.

It’s the most important exercise I provide to my clients. I guarantee it’ll help keep

you on track better than anything else you’ve tried before.

Start by taking the time to relax, and go to a quiet place where you will not be

interrupted for at least 10 minutes.

Now, I want you to take a piece of paper, and use this headline:

Part I: Write down in detail, every little thing that motivates you to get in great

shape AND imagine that has already happened.

So, you already have the perfect, lean, sexy, hot body you want.

How would you feel? What would you see in the mirror?

What would THAT cause? How would that affect your loved ones?

What would life be like? Go deep, hold nothing back.

Part II: write down your greatest fears in regards to your health, looks and life.

Imagine the worst-case scenarios. Examples: you became obese, really sick, got a

heart attack, died?

How would you feel in that case? What would THAT cause?

How would that affect your family? What would life be like?

Really take the time to do this properly. Some of my clients spend an hour or more

on this. Some take 10-15 minutes. Regardless, go deep.

Dig for those deepest, scariest as well as happiest emotions. We want THE BEST

and the WORST scenarios explained in detail.

Then, read that manifesto EVERY morning and before going to bed EVERY single

night. You will never be the same…

THE MINDSET

OF A STRONG, LEAN & HEALTHY ENTREPRENEUR

It’s probably no surprise to you that fit, lean and strong entrepreneurs have a

different mindset than the rest of them.

And that difference comes down to a few key elements. Each of these is a battle of

sorts, since our instincts almost always lead us to make bad choices.

Here are the main three mindset battlegrounds.

MINDSET BATTLE #1

INSTANT GRATIFICATION

Our ancestors didn’t have a grocery store to load up on unlimited amount of food

any time they wanted. Instead, food was scarce and the next meal was uncertain.

And so, we evolved to eat all we can, when given a chance.

This short-term thinking is prevalent in all areas of life.

Everyone spends money they don’t have by using credit cards. They eat the

cookies and pizza until they are sick in their stomach.

No one cares about their long-term health. Or financial status 10 years down the

road. Thus, the mindset you need to adopt to get and stay fit, is the same one that

allowed you to build a successful business:

IT’S KEEPING THE LONG-TERM VISION IN MIND BY CONTROLLING

YOUR INSTANT GRATIFICATION-WIRED BRAIN THAT SEEKS THE

COOKIE OR PIZZA NOW.

We are wired for the time that

MINDSET BATTLE #2

FATTENING ENVIRONMENT

There are two types of hunger:

1. Physiological hunger, that you feel when your body truly needs food

2. Hedonic hunger – we eat because the food is there, and it tastes good. NOT

because we really need it, or because we are hungry.

Just think of an instance when you’ve just had a large meal, you are full and can’t

eat anymore.

And someone brings a tasty dessert.

You can’t resist so you devour it, knowing that you’ll feel terrible later, your

stomach will hurt, and you’ll likely gain weight.

Or you go to a party where all kinds of junk food, alcohol and sweets are abundant.

The social pressure is overwhelming, so you “blend in” and binge…

Those are examples of the environment that very intensely drives our behaviors.

The solution is to not have anything in the house that you know is not healthy

and/or good for you. And put systems in place that mitigate the “damage”.

Yes, plan it all out ahead of time. Get rid of all the cookies, candy, cereals and

other junk from the house. And replace them with fresh fruits, veggies and quality

meats. Put contingencies in place for days when you go out/socialize.

That’s 80% of the battle won.

The old quote is correct:

IF YOU FAIL TO PLAN, PLAN TO FAIL.

Create an environment that does NOT tempt you

and in which you cannot “fail”.

MINDSET BATTLE #3

ACTION LEVEL VS SYSTEMS LEVEL

Most entrepreneurs try to lose weight by changing one thing.

Whether it be “eat less carbs”, “cut my fats”, or “start exercising” – it’s always one

individual thing.

And it never works.

Because the “system” that got them to gain weight to begin with is what I call the

“get fat system”. It’s got way more than one part.

Thus, they need to build a new system, what I call a “get ripped” system.

Otherwise it will never work.

This would be similar to trying to build a business by just doing marketing…

Without knowing how to sell.

Or being able to deliver.

Or process payments.

That’s not the way to build a sustainable, profitable business.

Looking at all the factors that play a role in your weight, health and how your body

looks and performs – is THE key for losing weight, getting in shape and

maintaining that forever.

System is the key.

Respect it. Build it.

System always wins.

Mindset is the first pillar of a strong, sexy and healthy body that you need to be

paying attention to. 2nd is your diet aka the food you eat.

THE DIET

THE FOOD YOU EAT

How much you eat has THE biggest impact on your weight loss/gain.

At the most basic level, this is true regardless of what you eat.

You could literally be eating pure sugar and nothing else, but if you are in a calorie

deficit (eating less than your maintenance calorie level)- you’d still lose weight.

Because calories are king for weight loss/gain.

Talking of calories, all the food you eat is made of three main macronutrients:

How much of each of these to eat is complicated.

Because it depends on your weight, gender, fitness level, age, fat percentage,

activity level, and various other factors.

The best piece of advice I can give you here is to start tracking what you eat using

one of the free phone apps like myfitnesspal.

When you start tracking what you eat, you’ll inevitably notice two things:

1. You eat WAY more than you thought you did

2. Most foods have WAY more calories than you anticipated

When you sum up the above two (inevitable) conclusions, it will become clearer

why you (and the rest of the world) are getting fatter by the day.

➢ Protein: The most

important nutrient. Builds

muscle. Makes your

metabolism fast.

Suppresses appetite and

controls blood sugar.

Found in meats, fish, eggs,

dairy and some grains.

➢ Fats: essential for life.

Provides energy and

immune system support.

In nature, almost always

comes with protein. Fish,

eggs, meats, olive oil,

butter and nuts are the

best sources.

➢ Carbohydrates: NOT

essential for life. ONLY

an energy source. Unless

for high-intensity

exercise, not needed at

all. Best sources are

fruits and veggies.

FOOD PREP

MAKES OR BREAKS A DIET

This may seem unimportant to you right now, but I have found food prep or if you

will – “how you get your food” to be THE crucial part of one’s success in losing

weight and building the body of their dreams.

If you don’t plan what you’re going to eat ahead of time, then you are left to

chance or luck. Which means you’ll end up eating out or getting some quick, on-

the-go packaged food.

In both cases, you are likely to gain weight.

Because restaurants don’t care about your health. They are in business to make

money so they care about selling the largest portion they can, to justify the cost.

And what will they load your plate with?

The food type that has the biggest profit margins.

Yes, it’ll be breads, rice, oil, desserts and other high calorie, low-nutrient foods.

So how you get your food is crucial, which is why some of my clients have their

meals delivered, or hire a chef to prepare them, based on my instructions of portion

sizes etc.

Neglect this part and you are guaranteed to fail.

If you (or someone in your household) prepares food, your best bet is to buy and

prepare high quality meats, eggs and fish, and fresh veggies - in BULK.

If you have this automated so that you have your meals either delivered or

prepared by someone in house – you’ll be well on your way to getting the body

you want, even if you neglect ALL other steps here.

Yes, food prep is THAT important. Focus on it!

THE most neglected part of your “get ripped” system is food prep aka

HOW or WHERE you get your food.

Neglect this, and you will NOT lose weight. Automate this and you will.

EXERCISE

IS WHAT MAKES YOU STRONG AND FIT

The health benefits of exercise are numerous. You already know you should do it.

But what kind of exercise should you do? And how much?

There are two main types of exercise:

1. Cardio (running, swimming, cycling, hiking)

2. Resistance training (lifting weights)

They both have their pros and cons, and here is a quick summary:

As you can see, both of them burn calories which aids in weight loss,

although minimally (majority of weight you lose comes from your diet).

The main difference is that cardio does NOT build muscle.

Lifting weights does.

And muscle is what we want (and need) in order to build the strong, fit

and healthy body that makes you confident, sexy and in control.

So cardio is ok. And if you feel like it, you can do 30-45 minutes of cardio 1-2

times a week. Maybe even more if that’s your thing.

But strength training (lifting weights) is way more effective. It simply gives the

best bang for the buck.

But do you have to spend hours in the gym every day to get fit, strong and healthy?

Absolutely not.

Here’s one study from 2015 showing that your metabolism stays elevated by up to

50 hours post resistance training:

➢ Cardio: burns calories. In

moderation- it’s good for

heart health. Too much can

lead to muscle loss, overuse

injuries and inflammation.

➢ Lifting Weights: burns calories.

Builds muscle. Increases

metabolism. Strengthens the

immune system. Takes very little

time. It’s the fountain of youth.

What this means is that your body is building muscle (and elevating metabolism)

for up to Three Days AFTER the Workout.

Thus, as little as two workouts per week are all you need to build that strong, fit,

healthy and sexy body you always wanted.

And to get the most out of every minute you spend in the gym - focus on

compound movements that train multiple muscle groups at once. These would be

squats, deadlifts, pullups, chest presses and shoulder presses.

Moving on.

SLEEP IS OUR MOST EFFECTIVE NATURAL RECOVERY TOOL

You already know sleep is important.

But I bet you don’t know just HOW important it is, and what a HUGE effect it has

on your food intake, your weight, and your mental and physical performance.

Most entrepreneurs fall into one of the two buckets:

Go to bed late, wake up late

OR

Go to bed late, wake up early

In both cases they don’t sleep enough, or have an irregular sleep pattern. I know

both of those too well :)

➢ You Can’t Build a Strong, Fit and Sexy Body Without Proper Recovery

Studies have shown that as little as 4-5 days of sleeping 6 hours per night increases

your ad-libitum food intake by 20%.

Yes, if you don’t sleep enough = eat more = gain weight.

Lack of sleep also decreases your mental as well as physical performance. You

can’t think properly, and even if you do exercise – you get less from it.

Further, your body builds new muscle AND build hormones while you sleep.

Neither of those happens as much as it could, if you get less than 7-8 hours of

quality sleep per night. If you’re exercising, I suggest aiming for 8hrs consistently.

So, what’s the solution?

➢ Formula for Getting a Perfect Night’s Sleep

Follow these 7 steps and you’ll sleep like a baby:

1. Go to bed and get up at the same time every day (this is THE biggest one)

2. Eliminate strong light exposure (NO screens) 2-3 hours before bed

3. Keep room temperature at 66 degrees F (19 Celzius)

4. Keep your room pitch dark

5. Limit fluid consumption a few hours pre-bed

6. Create a routine you repeat every night before bed (like shower, reading a book)

7. Supplement melatonin (3mg) and try Mg L-Threonate (1gram)

The last step is optional as you may sleep like a baby without any supplements.

But if you still want to try supplementation, then take melatonin (3-5mg is ok).

That should do the trick.

Optionally, you can also add Mg L-Threonate, which is the most bio-available

form of Magnesium today. Experiment with it though as I have found for some of

my clients it can cause the opposite effects and ruin their sleep.

Use accordingly.

HABITS DETERMINE IF YOU STAY RIPPED OR GAIN IT ALL BACK

Humans are creatures of habit.

We do indeed repeat mostly the same things day in and day out.

And it’s also true that successful people have successful habits, and vice versa.

So how are habits built? And how do we change them?

Luckily, enough research has been done on this to give us some firm answers.

➢ The Anatomy of a Habit

All habits follow this pattern:

- Trigger/Cue: (something triggers our behavior) like sugar craving/hunger

- The Routine: physical or emotional action you take

- The Reward: satisfaction of getting the “need” met

Example: Changing a “bad” habit of eating pizza every day

- you are hungry (trigger)

- you order pizza (the routine)

- Tasty food in your mouth (reward)

The solution is to keep the trigger and the reward, but CHANGE the routine.

So you ask yourself: what’s the real reason behind the routine/actions you take that

promote the bad habit?

In the example above – you do that to satisfy your hunger.

Then you experiment with different routines (different foods) that provide the same

reward (delicious taste).

And so, both the initial part (trigger) as well as the final part (reward) stay the

same, but we are simply replacing the current “Action” or Routine with another

one.

That is the fastest way to break “bad” habits.

➢ How to Build New Habits

In a group of people who ALL set goals (and EVEN deadlines!), there is ONE

difference between those who achieve their goals and those who don’t.

That crucial difference comes down to a concept called:

Implementation Intention Strategy.

It means committing to exactly WHEN, WHERE and WHAT will one do.

In one study, less than 30% of the people who set their goals and deadlines –

achieved them. Over 70% did NOT.

When the same people were instructed to commit exactly when, what and where

they will do specific actions that lead to the goal – over 90% of them crushed heir

goals!

The reason this works so well is - CLARITY.

When you’re crystal clear on what exact action, at the exact place at the exact time

you need to do – the execution becomes much more likely.

Example: You want to start going to the gym 3X/week

You sign up for the membership, show up that first day and maybe another

time…And that’s it.

You never go there again.

The BEST way to build a new habit is to be SPECIFIC

about WHEN, WHERE and WHAT you will do!

This is what happens with majority of gym members everywhere.

But when you implement the Intention strategy, it goes like this:

Instead of setting your goal to be:

➢ I am going to go to the gym 3x/week.

You set this goal:

➢ I am going to go to X gym on Mon, Wed and Fri at 3pm every week

This is the most powerful, proven way to build a new habit and make it stick.

HOW TO GAIN MASSIVE WEIGHT LOSS MOMENTUM

Momentum is the drug of choice for entrepreneurs.

Without it, we not only go crazy but we also accomplish nothing.

But, with so many things on your mind, environment, friends and old habits that

keep you from making the so-much-needed changes… how do you create

momentum?

Momentum is created by reducing friction and risk.

This just so happens to be your core job as an entrepreneur.

You must create continuous motion by staying on track and overcoming obstacles,

distractions and temptations… until your actions become automatic habits.

Here are 4 proven steps for creating MASSIVE weight loss momentum:

1. Track – Peter Drucker (the father of management) said: “What doesn’t get

measured, doesn’t get managed”.

If you start a diet without measuring your fat percentage, weight, strength

etc – you will not be able to measure progress, or lack thereof.

And since progress = motivation, you may think that you’re not making

progress (even if you are!), and you are likely to quit.

Measure. Track. Period.

2. Set Stakes – just like you should set rewards for every small milestone you

reach, you also must set your “punishment” in the case you don’t stick to

what you committed to.

Whether it be public shaming, donating your money to Nazis or buying a

product from your biggest hater (just some of my clients’ stakes) – you

MUST have “positive constraints” that keep you on track.

Without this, you will fail. I guarantee you that.

3. Plan for Setbacks – Newsflash: you are only human. And as such, you will

NOT stick to the plan 100%. No human ever did, no human ever will.

And you will not be the first human in history to do it either.

Thus, instead of planning for impossible perfection – create a backup plan

for what you will do when (NOT IF) you get off track.

You had an unplanned party and ate a ton +

got drunk – while on a diet.

Is everything lost?

Of course not.

Simply eat less the next day, and/or back it up with a longer workout and

there you go.

4. Be Accountable – it’s probably of no surprise to you that the world’s best

entrepreneurs always have coaches, mentors and advisors that not only give

them direction and insight, but also keep them accountable.

If it takes paying someone to keep you accountable and enforce “the

punishment” (from step 3 above) – so be it.

Either do this, or keep spinning your wheels and never gaining momentum

in losing weight.

WHAT TO DO NEXT?

At this point in the guide, your head is probably spinning.

My suggestion is to take the list of 6 pillars and write them all down.

From there, identify 1-2 most important actions you can take in each of the pillars.

Losing weight and getting in shape is simple, but no one said it was easy.

If you are a successful, busy entrepreneur, and you want to build that sexy, strong

and fit body, the fastest way to do that is to have the help of someone who’s done it

for themselves + has a proven track record of helping many others - do it too.

I want to ensure you know the step-by-step process for getting ripped in order to

properly implement this so here’s the summary:

➢ STEP #1: Forget everything you know

Understand that what you’ve done so far, and what you’ve heard or read about

weight loss will NOT get you there. Otherwise you would already be there. It takes

a new set of habits, beliefs and accountability to get you to the next level.

➢ STEP 2: Setup the right diet for YOU

The first actionable step you must take to lose weight and get ripped is to have a

custom-made diet. A diet that fits your genes, your lifestyle, your preferences and

your unique goals. This is non-negotiable. You MUST transition from “winging it”

to knowing exactly what you should eat, how much, when etc. This means having a meal plan that’s created specifically for you…

The key to sticking to that meal plan? Step 3:

➢ STEP 3: Automate your food prep (aka food getting)

Having a salad “here and there” or saying “I’ll eat better” is not a good weight loss

strategy. You should not be making a food decision every time you’re hungry.

Rather, you need to eat delicious foods that you love and enjoy, but that also get

you ripped. You do this by automating the “food getting” system so that you’re

able to predictably know when you are going to eat what food, and how much of it.

➢ STEP 4: Make exercise a part of your routine

At this point, you are either exercising without getting results or are about to start

incorporating exercise into your weekly routine. I suggest you start lifting weights.

Soon after, you will start to FEEL like you have all the energy in the world. And

right after that – you’ll start noticing new muscle being built.

This is the beginning of your new, strong, healthy, fit and ripped body.

But to keep that momentum going, you need to properly recover.

And how do you do that? Step 5.

➢ STEP 5: Fix your sleep

You’re probably used to not sleeping enough. And using coffee and other

stimulants to get you going in the morning.

But to go to the next level with your body, sky rocket your energy and be the

highest performing version of yourself – you need to focus BOTH on quality and

quantity of your sleep.

Some research shows 7 hours of sleep might be sufficient, but from personal

experience and that of 390 entrepreneurs I’ve coached – 8 hours of sleep is the true

minimum. If you want to get maximal results in losing weight, building muscle and

performing at the next level. If you implement steps 1-5, you’ll lose body fat, build lean muscle, and likely

get in the best shape of your life, period. But how do you maintain that?

➢ STEP 6: Build lifelong habits

As an entrepreneur, it’s your job to be able to create systems. You can only build a

profitable and sustainable business – if you make it into a system.

The same is true with your body. You need a system that allows you to get in the

best shape ever, and easily maintain that.

And nothing will help you do this better than being able to build lifelong habits.

Focus on habits. Without them, you’ll never achieve your dreams.

Those are the 6 steps to lose weight, get ripped and STAY ripped forever.
