  • Please highlight three (3) constant efforts in implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects to benefit various communities that are close to their development areas (including environmental efforts) Naza TTDIs CSR initiatives is centred around its Care For The Environment programme. Effort that have been taken to enhance this programme among employees, communities and other stakeholders include the following:- 1. Waste Recycling Initiative

    The adoption of the waste recycling initiative at Naza TTDIs office premise started in 2013. The initiative continues until now where a recycling committee comprising of employees is established to manage, educate and create awareness among employees of the company.

Rehabilitation and Enhancement of Facilities and Promotion of Kuala Selangor Nature Park To further enhance environment education and boosting Kuala Selangor Nature Park as an eco-tourism site, Naza TTDI has collaborated with the Malaysian Nature Society and The Star Media Group for the rehabilitation and enhancement of the facilities and the promotion of Kuala Selangor Nature Park with the ultimate goal of securing an international wetland status from the Ramsar Convention. Following the MOU signing in June 2015, various work were undertaken by employees of the company with support of its business partners that include the following:-

    (a) Establish a colour code scheme for all building structure within the park and re-painting

    works them (b) Develop consistent signage which will be installed progressively throughout the park (c) Enhance public toilets (d) Repair damage building structure (e) Promote the park through media publicity

  • 3. Collaborating in environment programme with Local Authorities Naza TTDI have been an active partner in supporting Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) Shah Alam Trees for Life programme. This tree planting initiatives was participated by employees of the company on an annual basis since 2013.

  • Please highlight three (3) good staff engagement activities that highlight on how your company constantly take good care of staffs overall welfare 1. Implementation of cashless medical card program for staff

    A cashless medical card was introduced in January 2015 in response to staff, especially those of executive level and below, having difficulties paying for their medical charges after treatment or during emergency cases. This program replaces the traditional way of pay first and claim later method as bills will flow straight to the company.

Occasional sport and recreational activities for staff Through the companys recreational club, company-wide sport activities were organised as part of staff engagement which allow staff to compete healthily among each other and attractive prizes were given as a reward. Sports tournament held during 2014/2015 are as follow:- To further encourage staff towards a healthy lifestyle, a weekly badminton session is also organised. In addition, for staff seeking adventurous activities, hiking trips to Mount Irau, Mount Yellow and Mount Berembun were organised.

  • 3. Explorace challenge Naza TTDI has come up with its own race known as the VIQ Challenge to promote its brand tagline of Value, Innovation, Quality. Eleven teams of four compete in this race where obstacles were designed to test staffs IQ, mental and physical ability. The race was successfully held in December 2015 and this will continue to be an annual event.
