2) • In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Weasley Clock is yellow and is surrounded by a piece of parchment (with a green background), and the text is red.

• The locations are: GARDEN, SCHOOL, HOME, X, PRISON, LOST, QUIDDITCH TRAVELLING and MORTAL PERIL.

• It is ironic that X is listed on the clock in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. It is implied a few times in the series that wizards have no use for X.

• Although it is highly likely that Arthur Weasley added it, due to his fascination with Muggles.

4)• Dolores Umbridge claimed to be related to a family in 1997, lying about how she obtained Salazar Slytherin's Locket.

• Umbridge took it as a bribe from Mundungus Fletcher, but told Hermione Granger, who was disguised as Mafalda Hopkirk through use of Polyjuice Potion, that it was an old family heirloom. She was likely lying to "bolster her own pure-blood credentials”.

• X is an uncommon surname of Anglo-Saxon origin derived from the words "castle", and "friend". It is also the name of a mountain range in the Canadian Rockies, and a Cambridge College.

• X is the surname of a pure-blood wizarding family, and one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

• These were discovered in the Hell Creek Formation in South Dakota by three amateur palaeontologists from Sioux City, Iowa. The skull was subsequently donated to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for study in 2004, and was formally described by Bob Bakker and Robert Sullivan in 2006.

• It is a herbivore, had a skull with spiky horns, bumps, and a long muzzle. The species also sports well-developed supratemporal fenestrae and a heavily armoured flat skull.

MUGGLE QUIDDITCH• The sport was created in 2005 at Middlebury College

in Middlebury, Vermont by Xander Manshel and Alex Benepe, who later became the first commissioner of quidditch.

• Three circular goals are placed on either side of the pitch. The goals are often circular tubes on top of PVC pipes. All players are required to carry a broom between their legs at all times, otherwise they are considered "off their brooms“.

• The snitch is a tennis ball placed at the bottom of a yellow long sock which is attached to the back of the snitch runner's shorts as if it were a tail.

8) • According to Rowling herself, the first names of Albus Dumbledore and X were chosen based on "the white" and "the red", which were considered essential mystical components of alchemy.

• X was given the red for passion or emotion.• X’s name is derived from a nightmare in English

folklore. • According to folklore, the witch sat on a sleeper's

chest and sent nightmares to him or her. When the subject awoke, he or she would be unable to breathe or even move for a short period of time. This state is now called sleep paralysis.

9) •X was the location where Kwidditch evolved. In the eleventh century, local resident Gertie Keddle recorded in her diary the antics of wizards and witches playing a broomstick mounted game.

•Her diary revealed the presence of a leather ball, flying rocks and the idea of passing the leather ball to each other, then trying to score points by throwing the ball into the trees .

• In the real world "quidditch" is a dialect English word for a type of ditch, and came from Anglo-Saxon meaning "mud-ditch".

10)• It is thought by some that Thestral tail hair makes for a unique personality; completely dispassionate and showing no emotion towards the wizard, thereby connecting with the lore of artefact X.

• There is also a school of thought that says that the Thestrals’ connection to the concept of death is another key factor in the many deaths surrounding X.

• Yet as Hagrid claims, Thestrals maybe the victims of superstition and X’s nature maybe due a reflection on power and the allure it has for some people.

• What is X?

Page 34: The Alan Rickman Memorial Harry Potter Quiz Mains

11)• On 22 August, 1994, Viktor Krum used the X in the final of the Quidditch World Cup against Ireland. Krum successfully tricked the Ireland Seeker, Aidan Lynch, into diving into the ground, allowing Krum a few moments to look for the Snitch without interference.

• On 22 May, 2014, German Seeker Thorsten Pfeffer attempted the X in his team's match against Wales. However, he failed to pull up out of it in time and collided with the ground at an estimated sixty miles per hour. Pfeffer managed to survive the collision due to the rapid administration of Skele-Gro, though he had broken most of the bones in his body.

• Oddly, Harry Potter was eager to try it out after seeing Krum do it, but he had already performed it (or something very similar) during the last school year against Cho Chang.

• Severus grew up at X, a shabby suburb of Cokeworth. The young Severus is depicted as being unwashed and wearing ill-fitting clothes "that were so mismatched that it looked deliberate".

• Lily Evans and her family lived in the same town, close to X. The two bonded quickly and it appears that he was very interested in Lily right from the beginning, though she only regarded him as a good friend.

• During this time he also developed a contempt towards Y most likely because she made disparaging comments about his clothes and residence, but may also be because she was a Muggle.

• Severus was a half-blood wizard who was the son of the witch Eileen Snape and Muggle Z.

• In the months before to the First Task, Cedric was informed by Harry that the first task was to get past a dragon.

• While selecting miniature versions of a dragon for the Tournament, Cedric drew the X and the number one slot, so entered the arena first to attempt to retrieve the golden egg it was guarding.

• Facing the dragon, Cedric transfigured a rock into a Y to distract the creature. While the dragon turned to chase Y, Cedric went for the Golden egg.

• The dragon burned Cedric on the side of his face, and he barely managed to get away from it. He was tended to by Z

• At the beginning of the year, Harry Potter and Ronald Weasley arrived at school, not via the Hogwarts Express, but in Arthur Weasley's Flying X; Minerva McGonagall, their Head of House, gave them different punishments. Ron had to help Filch polish the silvers at the Y without using magic.

• During the 1992–1993 school year, Filch tried to improve his status as a Squib using a Z course. Of course, as Filch had no inherent magical powers, this was of little use.

• The Bloody Baron was a wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Founders' time and was Sorted into Slytherin house.

• After Hogwarts, he fell in love with X, but she did not love him. He was sent by Y to find X in Albania, but she refused to return with him and so he killed her in a rage. When he realised what he had done, the Baron stabbed himself with the same knife and died.

• Covered in X’s blood to this day, he earned himself the moniker of "Bloody Baron".

• Y is the mother of X. And X is also known by a moniker Z.

• Hermione enjoyed her years as a pupil at Hogwarts, and took assignments, classes, and school rules very seriously.

• She was often described as "the brightest witch of her age". Her favourite subject was initially Charms, and later X, and the only areas of study that gave her trouble were Flying and Divination.

• When Harry received a Y for Christmas with no note, Hermione reported it to Professor McGonagall, thinking it was sent by Sirius Black, whom everyone believed to be a dangerous murderer who was after Harry.

• During the reading of Dumbledore's will, she also displayed her incredible store of general knowledge when she mentioned that “Zs have flesh memories”

• When the Yule Ball was announced during the Triwizard Tournament, Neville asked Hermione to go with him. After Hermione politely declined, having already agreed to attend with Viktor Krum, Neville asked X.

• His parents, Alice and Frank Longbottom, were well-respected Aurors and members of the original Order of the Phoenix. About sixteen months after Neville's birth, they were tortured to insanity by four Death Eaters with the Cruciatus Curse and placed in the Y at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, leaving Neville to be raised by his grandmother, Z.
