Consistently ranked among the top programs in the United States and worldwide, Executive Education at Chicago Booth is founded in the same educational philosophy as our MBA, Executive MBA, and PhD Programs.

For more than 100 years, Booth has been a leader and innovator in business research and education:

• First to have seven Nobel Prize-winning professors

• First to create an Executive MBA program in 1943 and to offer a PhD in business in 1920

• First to establish permanent campuses on three continents: Asia, North America, and Europe

WhY chooSe BooTh?

You get access to cutting-edge, Nobel Prize-winning research

Our faculty redefined the science of the stock market, originated the study of modern finance, pioneered database marketing, and defined the concepts of social capital and human capital. Booth continues to shape the way the world does business.

You learn from the same highly regarded Booth professors who teach in Chicago

Booth professors and practitioners collaborate and consult with firms, serve on corporate boards, and start their own companies. Government and business leaders worldwide seek them out for their expert analysis and advice. With their masterful mix of theory and application, you can immediately start applying what you learn to your work.

You will build a strong network that lasts a lifetime

Our programs attract some of the brightest and best senior executives from across the world. After learning from each other in a confidential and supportive environment, you’ll create close bonds and networks you can tap into throughout your personal and professional life.

The Adp dIFFerenceMinimal time away from the office. Maximum return on your time at Booth. That’s one of the many advantages of the Accelerated Development Program.

• Unlike other senior executive programs that require weeks or even months away from work at a time, ADP is designed to stay in step with your schedule. The program takes place over three months with one week a month in the classroom. It’s a modular format that works—and lets executives keep working.

• Developed with practical application in mind, ADP allows you to apply your new knowledge to the workplace in real time for immediate and lasting results. By encouraging peer learning in a confidential and supportive environment, you can share your experiences and get instant feedback.

• ADP goes beyond building you up as a leader—there’s also a strong emphasis on how to inspire those around you: your team, your firm, your community. You will leave the program ready to help your organization achieve greater results and drive it forward.

The Adp eXperIenceThe immersive, modular nature of ADP provides maximum exposure to key concepts and strategies before, during and after the learning sessions. From the Pre-Program, Inter-Module Learning, and Executive and Career Coaching to the Post-Program Touch Points and yearly reunions, ADP delivers lifelong learning outcomes. For the complete schedule, see pages 5-6.

Adp FocUSeS on SocIAl cApITAlPeople bring to their job more than the human capital they have accumulated through years of education and experience. They also bring social capital, the resources and support they can procure through their network of relationships.

Contemporary organizations, with their leaner hierarchies and global markets, require now more than ever that leaders become the authors of their jobs. Successful people are better at reading their organization, determining what to do and who to involve in getting the job done, and therefore driving organizational transformation. Such leaders have social capital.

Research shows that active participants in a program that was grounded in principles of social capital were:

• 72% more likely to be promoted

• 74% more likely to be retained by their companies

• 42% more likely to receive top performance evaluations
