The AAEVT "HoofBeats" August 24, 2013 Website Update: The new AAEVT website has launched and we hope all of you have been able to log on and update your profiles and look around. Your log in is your email address - and everyone was sent a password. However if you misplaced it - just ask for your password to be reset. The Calendar of Events is on the Right hand side - it lists the current upcoming 3 events. If you click on More... it will take you to the complete Calendar. Events that are highlights are events you can register for - either on line or by clicking on the pdf. These are the IVECCS wet lab day, NEAEP and AAEP. The Career Center lists all of the current job opportunities - and you can upload your resume and additional job opportunities to this area. There are many new features with this website and we will try to outline a few to get your oriented: • There is a drop down tab area under Events for each AAEVT event - Be sure to click on the main tab as well for a complete listing. • Be sure to update your profile - as not all of the information you may have had up on the old website transferred over - we will still be transferring over some more information - but we want your profile to be as current as possible. You can upload a headshot and more personal and professional information. • Members can email each other or send a quick message if you see someone you know on line. You can search for members by a variety of criteria now... • The on line store will be available later this month, as well as blogs and forums. NEW! You can now print off your own AAEVT membership card in your profile area. It will show your new member ID as well as your membership expiration date - these will no longer be mailed out in the member packets. We are working to make this website your FIRST go to place for information about the association, the industry, your equine interests etc... including a place to post if you are looking for resources, supplies for the clinic, medical information, and personal ads for tack, horses, equestrian events etc. Renewals: For those of you who are due to renew your membership in 2013 and wish to do so online - you should have received a discount code. As of December 31, 2013, the discount for renewing on line will no longer
