SEMESTER 1 REPORTS The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us with extraordinary challenges in managing schooling during the first half of 2020. I am pleased that together, we have been able to make the best of this situation and ensure your child’s safety and continuity of learning. With the regular attendance of many students being lower over this time, the information required by teachers to judge whether students have reached the achievement targets has been reduced. For this reason, schools are not required to include A to E grades on this year’s Semester 1 student reports and attendance will not be reported. The semester reports will contain written comments for Mathematics, English and a General Comment. These comments will outline work completed and information about the student’s progress. As always, if you have any concerns please discuss these with the classroom teacher. Pre-primary reports will be handed out during memory book afternoon, next Wednesday 1st July. Years 1 – 6 reports will be sent home on Friday 3rd July. Multilit Reports will go home with students next term.

MEMORY BOOK AFTERNOON The K/P class will be holding their Memory Book Afternoon on Wednesday 1st July at 2.30pm in Blue Wren

– Room 4. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will not be holding an afternoon tea nor having food to share.

We simply invite you to join us for half an hour for a cuppa and to look at and share your child’s Semester 1

Memory Book. Pre-Primary Reports will also go home with children on this day.

PYJAMA DAY The Year 5/6 students are busily trying to come up with ways to raise funds to reduce the costs for their

upcoming camp in October. Their first fundraiser will be a Pyjama Day to be held on Wednesday 1st July.

For a gold coin donation students are invited to come to school dressed in their pyjamas on this day.

Please make sure that your pyjamas are still appropriate for school activities. So come along and show us

your night fashion… just don’t get too comfortable!
