Due to feedback from Tes�ng Companies, each company will also

have a Company Administrator Account that can Manage

Company Informa�on, add Testers and run reports on work

performed. The Administrator does not need to be a tester, but if

they are, they can always register as a tester by adding their Tester

specific info to their User Account.

Step 4 Log in to view Company Dashboard. Tester

accounts can be created from your Dashboard.

Open an Internet Browser and navigate to http://gethydrosoft.com.

Click the “Get Started” button under Tester Registration

Enter your Testing Company Information and create the login for the Tester Company Administrator Account. Administrator does not have to be a tester, but after the Admin Account is created and approved, it can be turned into a Tester Account too.

Note: Fields Highlighted Orange are Required: Company Name, Contact Name, Primary Company Email, Address, City, State, ZIP, and Phone Number.

Your login name must be unique, and you can use your own email address or the main email address for your company. Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click ‘Register’.

We will review your account and approve it.

Once Approved, you will receive an email with your temporary password. You can login to update your Password, or company information.

If the administrator is also a tester, you can update the Tester specific information under the administrator’s User Account. Once images have been uploaded, we will be able to approve the “tester” side of the Admin account and you’ll be able to input test forms.

How to Add a Tester to your Testing Company

1. Click the Add Tester Button on your Dashboard

2. Enter the required information

3. HydroSoft will send an email to the tester the Login Name you created for them and a temporary Password. You as the Administrator can access the same page simply by clicking the ‘Select’ button next to the tester record.

4. You can Change the temporary password, edit any of the tester information previously entered and upload the Certification Documents for your tester. Or the tester can log in with the credentials in the email and update that information.

5. Click “Choose Files” to upload images of the Tester’s Certification Card and Calibration for their test gauge. Uploaded images can be viewed and removed.

6. When all of the information has been submitted, the Tester account can be approved. An email will be sent to the tester when the account is approved. You as the Company Administrator can see that their account has been approved by checking their record on your dashboard.

The Dashboard consists of 3 Areas.

1. The Top section is your Company Information.

2. The 2nd Section is your list of Administrators and Testers already registered with HydroSoft.

3. The final section is a display of all of the test forms your company has entered this year.

There are 5 dynamic reports on the left and two tables on the right. The top table is an overall count of all backflow preventers all testers in your company have entered into the system. The table below that will show how many of each type of backflow preventer have been tested by each tester in your company. Use the drop down box to select a different tester.

The Dynamic Reports on the left can be filtered by Start and End Date, of by selecting the City from the drop down.

Facilities where testing is Complete is a listing of every facility where all testable assemblies have been tested for this year.

Assemblies Failed is a listing of all Facilities where a Backflow Preventer has a failed test. Facilities will be removed from this report when all Backflow Preventers at that facility have passed.

Facilities where Testing is not Complete is a listing of every facility where at least one Backflow Preventer has been tested, but there are others that have not be tested or have not been removed. These Facilities are going to receive additional testing notifications.

Non-Compliant Facilities is a listing of Facilities your Company has tested, but that facility has outstanding Cross Connection Control Violations.

Pending Test Forms is listing of test forms your Company have submitted but have not yet been approved. If we have questions regarding a test form and reach out to you for clarification, the record is very likely in that report.
