The ECVLS1 is a compact but powerful visible fault locator designed troubleshoot on fiber optic cables. Light generated by theseunits will escape from sharp bends and breaks in jacketed or bare fibers, as well as poorly mated connectros. Thus they an iden-tify faults in fiber optic jumper ables, distribution frames, patch panels, and splice trays.

The ECVLS1 locates faults visually by creating a bright red glow at the exact location of the fault on singlemode or multimodefibers. The ECVLS1 is powered by two 1,5 AAA bateries.
