The ECOPM2 series of Power Meter are the advanced version of ECOPM1 series. It is more functional and intelligent thanECOPM1. In the situation of laboratory, LANs, WANs and CATV as well as long distance optical network, the Optical PowerMeters, together with euroclust's Stabilized Laser Sources, can be used to identify optical fiber, measure optical attenuation, ver-ify continuity and evaluate fiber link transmission quality.Auto-WWavelength Recognition: The ECLS201 unit can transmit with a wavelengthidentification digital encrypted protocol,enabling the ECOPM2 Power Meter to automatically swith to the proper calibration Wavelength. The ECVLS1 is a compact but powerful visible fault locator designed troubleshoot on fiber optic cables. Light generated by theseunits will escape from sharp bends and breaks in jacketed or bare fibers, as well as poorly mated connectros. Thus they an iden-tify faults in fiber optic jumper ables, distribution frames, patch panels, and splice trays.

The ECVLS1 locates faults visually by creating a bright red glow at the exact location of the fault on singlemode or multimodefibers. The ECVLS1 is powered by two 1,5 AAA bateries.
