Principal’s Message Thank you to all our parents, grandparents and the wider community for your ongoing support; particularly in the areas of fundraising, including the Rous Bonfire, canteen, helping in the classroom and assisting with transport. I would like to wish all students and families on holidays a safe and happy break. Students and staff return on Monday, 15 October. Our school’s expectations: Be a Learner Be Respectful Be Safe Regards Pauline Houghton Uni-Bound 2018 Primary School Outreach Program Students in 5/6 had the opportunity to work with the team from Southern Cross University on Wednesday. The visit provided an opportunity for students to experience and learn about career pathways, as well as focussing on personal strengths. Students participated in small workshops learning about course areas and different careers for the future. Uni-Bound 2018 Primary School Outreach Program

Students in 5/6 had the opportunity to work with the

team from Southern Cross University on Wednesday. The

visit provided an opportunity for students to experience

Interrelate Program year 6 students

The Interrelate Program for the year 6 students postponed earlier this term will now be held on

Thursday, 18 October (week 1) at Rous PS. I will be supervising the students during the

program.

Class 4/5/6 Major Excursion Sydney/ Bathurst

Students in years 4/5/6 attending this year’s major excursion need to complete the attached

medical form and return to school by Friday, 19 October.

Science News

Well done to the students in 4/5/6 for

their projects on the solar system. The

projects are on display in the science

room for viewing until next term.

Starting next term we will be accepting donations of non-perishable items for the hamper raffle

for presentation night. These can be left at the office.
