BUDDY BENCH

The buddy bench has arrived - a Parliament initiative. The buddy bench is made from recycled plastic bags. It is a bench seat for students to use if they are needing to sit and have a chat. If students see someone sitting on the Buddy Bench, they are welcome to go and sit with that person and have a friendly chat.

PRIMARY ETHICS

Dear Parents & Carers,

Could you be an ethics teacher for Morisset Public School?

we are seeking volunteers to fill their roles so that classes can continue in 2020. If you yourself are not availa-

ble, please share this note with family and friends.

Ethics teachers receive full training by Primary Ethics, the Not-for-profit organisation approved to design curricu-

lum and training for the ethics program. Training consists of a free two-day workshop and short online modules.

Lesson materials are provided. Suitable volunteers have an interest in children’s education and development of

critical thinking skills and must be available each week to teach a half hour class on Friday. A small amount of

weekly preparation (such as printing and reading through lesson materials) is also required.

If you would like to make a valuable contribution to our school and feel this role would be suitable, please visit

www.primaryethics.com.au or contact the area coordinator Graham “Wrightson at Managerlakemacqauariewest-
